4. Opsætningsvejledning

Follow these steps to set up your barcode scanner:

1. Tilslut USB-kablet: Locate the USB cable provided in the package. Insert the smaller end of the USB cable into the port at the base of the barcode scanner handle.
2. Tilslut til computer: Insert the standard USB-A end of the cable into an available USB port on your computer or point-of-sale (POS) system.

5. Betjeningsvejledning

Operating the EMACHINE Laser Barcode Scanner is straightforward:

1. Tænd: The scanner receives power directly from the USB connection. Once connected to a powered USB port, it is ready for operation.
2. Sigter: Hold the scanner comfortably in your hand. Point the scanning window towards the barcode you wish to read. Ensure the laser beam covers the entire barcode.
3. Scanning: Press and hold the trigger button located on the handle. A red laser line will project from the scanning window.
4. Successful Scan: Upon a successful read, the scanner will emit an audible beep, and the LED indicator will flash green. The scanned data will be transmitted to your connected computer or POS system, appearing in the active input field.
5. Unsuccessful Scan: If the scanner does not beep or the LED does not flash green, reposition the scanner, adjust the distance, or try scanning from a different angle. Ensure the barcode is not damaged or obscured.
