1. Introduktion
This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and effective use of your Nikon D3100 Digital SLR Camera Body. The Nikon D3100 is a 14.2-megapixel DSLR camera designed for capturing high-quality still images and Full HD 1080p videos. It features a CMOS sensor, a 3.0-inch display, and user-friendly modes to assist photographers of all experience levels.
2. Opsætning
2.1. Batteriinstallation
The Nikon D3100 uses a lithium-ion battery. To install the battery, locate the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the camera. Slide the latch to open the cover, insert the battery with the correct orientation (refer to the diagram inside the compartment), and then close the cover securely until it clicks into place.

2.2. Indsættelse af hukommelseskort
The camera supports SD, SDHC, and SDXC memory cards. The memory card slot is located on the side of the camera body. Open the memory card cover, insert the memory card with the label facing the back of the camera until it clicks into place, and then close the cover securely.

2.3. Montering af et objektiv
The Nikon D3100 uses a Nikon F-mount for lenses. To attach a lens, remove the body cap from the camera and the rear cap from the lens. Align the mounting mark on the lens with the mounting mark on the camera body. Rotate the lens counter-clockwise until it clicks into place. Ensure the lens is securely attached before use.

3. Betjening af kameraet
3.1. Tænd/sluk
To turn the camera on, rotate the power switch located around the shutter-release button to the 'ON' position. To turn it off, rotate the switch back to 'OFF'.

3.2. Selecting a Shooting Mode
The mode dial on the top of the camera allows you to select various shooting modes, including Automatic, Custom, Landscape, Macro, Movie, Portrait, Shutter Priority, and Sports. For beginners, the 'GUIDE' mode offers on-screen assistance for taking different types of photos without needing extensive technical knowledge. The 'AUTO' mode provides simple point-and-shoot operation.

3.3. Tage billeder
Once a shooting mode is selected, compose your shot using the viewfinder or the 3.0-inch LCD screen (Live View). Press the shutter-release button halfway down to focus, then press it all the way down to capture the image.
3.4. Optagelse af videoer
To record a video, set the mode dial to 'MOVIE' or activate Live View and press the dedicated movie-record button. The D3100 records in Full HD 1080p resolution. Press the button again to stop recording.

5. Vedligeholdelse
5.1. Rengøring af kameraet
Regular cleaning helps maintain your camera's performance. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the camera body. For the lens, use a lens brush or blower to remove dust, followed by a lens cleaning solution and a microfiber cloth. The D3100 features automatic image sensor cleaning to help remove dust from the sensor.
5.2. Opbevaring
When not in use, store the camera in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use a camera bag to protect it from dust and physical damage.
6. Fejlfinding
6.1. Kameraet tænder ikke
