4. Opsætning og installation

This drain kit is designed for 1-1/2 inch threaded drains. Installation typically involves replacing existing drain components. Ensure the area is clean and free of debris before installation.

4.1. Drain Stopper Installation

1. Apply plumber's putty or a silicone sealant around the underside of the drain flange.
2. Insert the drain stopper assembly into the tub drain opening.
3. From underneath the tub, thread the drain shoe onto the drain stopper assembly. Tighten securely, ensuring a watertight seal.
4. Wipe away any excess plumber's putty or sealant.

4.2. Overflow Cover Installation

1. Position the overflow cover over the overflow opening.
2. Secure the overflow cover with the provided mounting screw. Do not overtighten.
3. If converting from a 2-screw overflow, a conversion kit (Moen part #142538) may be required.

The Moen Push-N-Lock drain stopper features a simple push-button mechanism for opening and closing the drain.

• To close the drain and retain water in the tub: Press down firmly on the top of the drain stopper until it clicks into the closed position.
• To open the drain and allow water to flow out: Press down firmly on the top of the drain stopper again until it clicks into the open position.

• Inspect the rubber seal on the stopper for debris or damage. Clean or replace the seal if necessary.
• Ensure the push mechanism is fully engaging to create a tight seal.
