Opsætning

Betjeningsvejledning

A. Cooking Rice

  1. Mål ris: Use the provided measuring cup to measure the desired amount of rice. One cup of uncooked rice yields approximately two cups of cooked rice. The maximum capacity is 5-1/2 cups of uncooked rice (11 cups cooked).
  2. Skyl ris (valgfrit): Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear. This can help prevent excess starch and reduce boiling over.
  3. Tilsæt vand: Place the rinsed rice into the non-stick inner pot. Add water according to the rice-to-water ratio recommended for your type of rice. A common ratio is 1:1 for white rice (e.g., 1 cup rice to 1 cup water). The inner pot has water level markings for convenience.
  4. Placer den indre gryde: Ensure the exterior of the inner pot is dry, then place it securely inside the main unit. Close the lid firmly.
  5. Select Cook Function: Push the menu switch down to the LAVE MAD position. De LAVE MAD indikatorlyset vil lyse.
  6. Madlavningsproces: The cooker will automatically switch to the HOLD VARM function once cooking is complete. The HOLD VARM indikatorlyset vil lyse.
  7. Tjene: Allow the rice to rest on HOLD VARM for 5-10 minutes before serving for best results. Use the provided spatula to fluff and serve.

B. Cooking Porridge or Soup

  1. Forbered ingredienser: Add your desired ingredients for porridge or soup into the non-stick inner pot. Ensure the total volume does not exceed the maximum fill line to prevent boiling over.
  2. Placer den indre gryde: Ensure the exterior of the inner pot is dry, then place it securely inside the main unit. Close the lid firmly. The specially designed lid helps prevent boiling over during porridge/soup preparation.
  3. Select Porridge/Soup Function: Push the menu switch up to the PORRIDGE/SOUP position. De PORRIDGE/SOUP indikatorlyset vil lyse.
  4. Madlavningsproces: Monitor the cooking process. The cooker will maintain a gentle heat suitable for simmering. The cooker will automatically switch to HOLD VARM when the liquid has been absorbed or after a set time, depending on the recipe.
  5. Tjene: Carefully open the lid, stir, and serve your porridge or soup.

C. Steaming Vegetables or Other Foods

  1. Tilsæt vand: Pour approximately 1-2 cups of water into the non-stick inner pot. Ensure the water level is below the steaming tray.
  2. Lave mad: Place vegetables or other foods to be steamed onto the steaming tray.
  3. Samle: Place the steaming tray into the inner pot. Close the lid firmly.
  4. Select Cook Function: Push the menu switch down to the LAVE MAD position. De LAVE MAD indikatorlyset vil lyse.
  5. Dampproces: Steam until food reaches desired tenderness. Monitor water level to prevent boiling dry.
  6. Tjene: Carefully remove the steaming tray using heat-resistant gloves and serve.
