Opsætning og installation
The APC Rack Mount PDU (AP9562) is designed for 1U horizontal mounting within a standard 19-inch rack.
Montering af PDU

- Attach the provided rack mounting brackets to the PDU using the included screws. Ensure they are securely fastened.
- Align the PDU with the rack posts and secure it using appropriate rack screws (not included).

Tilslutning af strøm
- Ensure all equipment to be connected is powered off.
- Connect the PDU's integrated 11.8-foot power cord (NEMA 5-15P) to a dedicated 100V-120V/15A power source.
- Connect your rack-mounted equipment's power cords to the 10 available NEMA 5-15R outlets on the PDU.
- Verify all connections are secure before powering on equipment.
Betjeningsvejledning
The APC Rack Mount PDU (AP9562) is a basic power distribution unit. It does not feature individual outlet switching or advanced monitoring capabilities. Power is continuously supplied to all outlets when the unit is connected to a live power source.
Powering On/Off Connected Equipment
To power on or off equipment connected to the PDU, use the power switches or controls on the individual equipment units. The PDU itself does not have a master power switch for all outlets.
Overbelastningsbeskyttelse
The PDU is equipped with a 15A circuit breaker. In the event of an overload (total current draw exceeding 15A), the circuit breaker will trip to protect connected equipment and the PDU. If this occurs:
- Disconnect some equipment to reduce the load.
- Wait a few moments for the breaker to cool.
- Press the circuit breaker reset button (typically located near the power cord input) to restore power.

The APC Rack Mount PDU (AP9562) requires minimal maintenance. Follow these guidelines to ensure optimal performance and longevity:
- Rensning: Periodically wipe the exterior of the PDU with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents. Ensure the PDU is disconnected from power before cleaning.
- Inspektion: Regularly inspect the power cord and outlets for any signs of damage, fraying, or loose connections. If any damage is observed, discontinue use and contact support.
