Follow these steps to install your KAK Biometric Fingerprint Lock:

1. Forbered installationsområdet: Choose a suitable location on your cabinet or drawer. Ensure there is enough space for both the fingerprint reader and the lock body.
2. Installer batterier: Open the battery compartment on the lock body and insert 3 AAA batteries. Ensure correct polarity.
3. Mount the Fingerprint Reader: Drill a hole (approximately 15mm diameter) for the fingerprint reader's shaft. Secure the reader to the exterior of the cabinet/drawer using the provided nut and washer.
4. Mount the Lock Body: Align the lock body with the fingerprint reader's shaft on the interior of the cabinet/drawer. Ensure the lock mechanism can freely engage with the cabinet frame. Secure the lock body using the provided screws.
5. Test funktionalitet: Before closing the cabinet/drawer, test the lock's mechanism to ensure it moves smoothly.

5. Betjeningsvejledning

5.1 Registrering af fingeraftryk

To register a fingerprint (up to 20 can be stored):

1. Press and hold the fingerprint sensor until the LED light turns blue.
2. Place your finger on the sensor. The light will flash green.
3. Lift and place your finger again several times, rotating slightly each time, until the light turns solid green, indicating successful registration.
4. Repeat for additional fingerprints if desired.

5.2 Oplåsning

To unlock the cabinet/drawer:

1. Placer en registreret finger på fingeraftrykssensoren.
2. The LED light will flash green, and the lock will disengage within 0.5 seconds.
3. Pull the cabinet/drawer open.

5.3 Nødoplåsning

In case of low battery or inability to unlock with a fingerprint:

• USB Backup Key: Use the provided USB backup key to manually unlock the mechanism.

6. Vedligeholdelse

6.1 Udskiftning af batteri

The lock is powered by 3 AAA batteries. When the battery is low, the red LED light will flash 3 times upon unlocking. Replace the batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation.

6.2 Rengøring

Wipe the fingerprint sensor and lock body with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the surface or electronic components.

• Lock mechanism stuck: Check for any obstructions preventing the lock from engaging or disengaging. Ensure the installation is secure and aligned correctly.

• For optimal fingerprint recognition, ensure your finger is clean and dry when registering and unlocking.
• Register multiple angles of your primary finger and consider registering a secondary finger for convenience.
• Keep the USB backup key in a safe, accessible location outside the locked cabinet/drawer for emergencies.
