8. Vedligeholdelse
Regelmæssig vedligeholdelse sikrer din svejsemaskines levetid og optimale ydeevne.
- **Cleaning:** Periodically clean the machine's exterior with a dry cloth. Use compressed air to blow out dust from the cooling vents. Ensure the machine is unplugged before cleaning.
- **Cable Inspection:** Regularly inspect all cables (power, electrode holder, ground clamp, TIG torch if applicable) for cuts, fraying, or damaged insulation. Replace damaged cables immediately.
- **Terminal Connections:** Check that all terminal connections are tight and free from corrosion.
- **Cooling Fan:** Ensure the cooling fan is free from obstructions and operating correctly.
- **Storage:** Store the welder in a dry, clean environment away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
9. Fejlfinding
| Problem | Mulig årsag | Løsning |
|---|---|---|
| No power/Machine not turning on | Power cable unplugged, power switch off, circuit breaker tripped. | Kontroller strømforbindelsen, sørg for, at afbryderen er tændt, nulstil afbryderen. |
| No arc or weak arc (MMA) | Dårlig jordforbindelse, forkert strømindstilling, damp electrode, damaged cable. | Ensure good ground contact, adjust current, use dry electrodes, check cables. |
| Electrode sticking (MMA) | Low current, incorrect arc length, Anti-stick function off. | Increase current, adjust arc length, ensure Anti-stick is enabled. |
| Overheat/Overcurrent alarm | Exceeded duty cycle, blocked ventilation, prolonged high current use. | Allow machine to cool down, clear vents, reduce current or welding time. |
| Poor weld quality (Lift TIG) | Incorrect current, improper gas flow, contaminated tungsten, wrong tungsten size. | Adjust current, check gas supply/flow, clean/replace tungsten, use correct tungsten. |
10. Brugertips
- **Initial Setup:** The welder is generally ready for MMA welding straight out of the box, requiring only the connection of the provided electrode holder and ground clamp. For Lift TIG, a separate TIG torch and gas supply are needed.
- **Electrode Selection:** For general purpose welding, E6013 electrodes are often recommended for beginners due to their ease of use and smooth arc.
- **Practice:** If you are new to welding, practice on scrap metal to get a feel for the machine and develop your technique before working on important projects.
- **Portability:** Take advantage of the machine's lightweight design and shoulder strap for easy transport to different work locations.
