1. Opsætningsvejledning

1.1 Critical Setup Notes

Remove Original Car Bluetooth: Please remove your car's original Bluetooth from your phone's paired devices list to prevent connection conflicts.
Keep Phone WiFi On: Keep your phone's WiFi on without manual connection. The adapter will auto-connect after Bluetooth pairing. (Manual WiFi connection is used for OTA updates).
Pair Bluetooth ONLY with Adapter: Please pair Bluetooth ONLY between your phone and the adapter. Do NOT connect the adapter to your car's Bluetooth system.

1.2 Kompatibilitetsnoter

Ensure your car is compatible with wired CarPlay or Android Auto.
Wireless CarPlay requires an iPhone 6 or newer model with iOS 10 or higher.
Wireless Android Auto requires an Android phone with version 11 or higher that supports the latest Android Auto features.

1.3 How to Check Vehicle Compatibility

Method 1 (USB Connection): Connect your iPhone or Android smartphone to the vehicle using a USB data cable. The CarPlay or Android Auto connection interface logo should then appear on the car's display screen.
Method 2 (QR Code/Webwebsted): Refer to the compatibility list by scanning the QR code provided in the original user manual (not embedded here) or visit the manufacturer's website. Alternatively, contact your car manufacturer directly for confirmation.

2. Betjeningsvejledning

2.1 Apple CarPlay-forbindelse

Start bilen og vent på, at systemet indlæses.
Insert the adapter into the vehicle's USB-A or USB-C port.
Once the adapter is successfully connected to the vehicle, the screen will display the adapter's Bluetooth name as "smartBox-xxxx".
Open the Settings on your iPhone and enable "Bluetooth" and "WLAN".
Go to the "Bluetooth" settings and select the adapter with the name "smartBox-xxxx" from the Available devices list.
A "Bluetooth Pairing Request" notification will appear on your phone screen. Click "Pair" to proceed.
Wait for about 20-30 seconds. A dialog box will appear on the phone screen asking "Use CarPlay with 'smartBox-xxxx'". Click "Use CarPlay" to establish a connection between your phone and the adapter.
Når Bluetooth-parringen er fuldført, og CarPlay-forbindelsen er etableret, skifter bilskærmen automatisk til CarPlay-tilstand.

2.2 Android Auto-forbindelse

Start bilen og vent på, at systemet indlæses.
Insert the adapter into the vehicle's USB-A or USB-C port.
Once the adapter is successfully connected to the vehicle, the screen will display the adapter's Bluetooth name as "smartBox-xxxx".
Open the Settings on your Android phone and enable "Bluetooth" and "WLAN".
Go to the "Bluetooth" settings and select the adapter with the name "smartBox-xxxx" from the "OTHER DEVICES" list.
A "Bluetooth Pairing Request" notification will appear on your phone screen. Click "Pair" to proceed.

2.3 Connecting Different Phones

Først skal du slå Bluetooth fra på den telefon, der aktuelt er tilsluttet, og derefter skal du slå Wi-Fi fra.
Tag adapteren ud og sæt den i igen. (Vigtigt)
Turn on Bluetooth on another mobile phone, then search for and pair with the "smartBox-xxxx" Bluetooth device.
Hvis mobiltelefonsystemet giver besked om, at Bluetooth er optaget, skal du prøve at parre flere gange for at fuldføre enhedsoverdragelsen.

2.4 LED Light Status Indicators

3. Vedligeholdelse

3.1 OTA Online Update

Regularly updating your adapter ensures optimal performance and access to the latest features. Follow these steps for an Over-The-Air (OTA) update:

Til iPhone:

Tænd for adapteren.
Connect to the adapter's WiFi network. The default password is "88888888".
Åbn a web browser on your iPhone and enter "192.168.5.1" to access the setting page.
Click "History version" to initiate the update process.

Til Android-telefon:

Tænd for adapteren.
Connect to the adapter's WiFi network. The default password is "88888888".
Åbn a web browser on your Android phone and enter "192.168.5.1" to access the setting page.
Click "Switch P2P Mode".
Return to your WiFi settings, find the "Wi-Fi Direct" option, then connect to the available device (smartBox-XXXX).
Return to the browser's page and click "History version" to initiate the update.

3.2 Generel pleje

Hold adapteren tør og væk fra ekstreme temperaturer.
Undgå at tabe adapteren eller udsætte den for kraftige stød.
Rengør adapteren med en blød, tør klud. Brug ikke flydende rengøringsmidler.

4. Fejlfinding

7. Brugertips
