4.1 Dual-Mode Operation (OBD+GPS)

The A590S supports both OBD2 and GPS modes. It will automatically attempt to connect via OBD2 first. If OBD2 data is unavailable or the power supply is below 6V, it will automatically switch to GPS mode.

• OBD System: Communicates via SAE J1939 protocol, supporting 7 communication protocols like CAN bus and K-line. Provides real-time data such as speed, RPM, coolant temperature, voltage, fuel consumption, engine load, oil temperature, turbo pressure, and more.
• GPS + BDS: Fully supports GPS (US) and BDS (China) satellite systems. In GPS mode, it displays speed, time, date, altitude, driving direction, GPS accuracy, latitude/longitude, GPS tracking, satellites, and driving score.
