3.1. Batteriinstallation/udskiftning

1. The sensor comes with a CR2032 battery pre-installed.
2. When the mobile application (APP) indicates a low battery level for the sensor, it's time to replace the battery.
3. To open the battery cover, use a coin or a suitable tool to twist the back cover counter-clockwise until it unlocks.
4. Replace the old CR2032 battery with a new one, ensuring correct polarity.
5. Close the back cover by aligning it and twisting clockwise until it locks securely.

3.2. Network Configuration (Pairing with Zigbee Gateway)

Note: This sensor requires a Zigbee gateway (hub) to connect to the mobile application and function correctly. It is compatible with eWeLink, Home Assistant, and Zigbee2mqtt platforms, but will not work with Tuya Zigbee hubs.

1. Ensure your Zigbee gateway is powered on and connected to your network.
2. Open your preferred smart home APP (e.g., eWeLink, Home Assistant, or Zigbee2mqtt interface).
3. Navigate to the "Add Device" or "Device Pairing" interface within the APP. Select your Zigbee Gateway and initiate the device search function (refer to your specific Zigbee Gateway/APP manual for detailed steps).
4. On the water sensor, locate the "Set Button" (often recessed). Press and hold this button firmly for approximately 3 seconds.

4.1. Placering

• Place the sensor flat on any surface where water leakage detection is desired. Common locations include under sinks, near washing machines, water heaters, toilets, or in basements.
• Ensure the detection points (probes) on the bottom of the sensor are in direct contact with the surface where water might accumulate.

4.2. Water Immersion Detection and Alerts

• The sensor continuously monitors for water immersion.
• When the water level detected by the sensor's probes reaches approximately 0.5mm (or 0.01M as per some descriptions), the sensor will immediately upload water status information to the connected Zigbee gateway.
• The gateway then sends a wireless alarm signal to the server via your Wi-Fi network.
• You will receive a real-time push notification on your mobile APP, alerting you to the water leakage.
• Local scene linkage can be performed even if the internet connection is temporarily disconnected, provided the gateway and sensor are still communicating locally.

4.3. Remote Monitoring and Scene Linkage

• Through the mobile APP, you can remotely monitor the status of your water sensor(s) from anywhere.
• The APP allows you to connect multiple sensors simultaneously to monitor water leaks in various locations like bathrooms, kitchens, balconies, and more.
