5. Opsætningsvejledning

Follow these steps to set up your HITBOX HBM1200 welder for different processes.

5.1 Første strømtilslutning

  1. Ensure the power switch on the back of the unit is in the 'OFF' position.
  2. Connect the power cable to the welder and then to a suitable 220V power outlet.
  3. Flip the power switch to 'ON'. The digital display should light up.

5.2 MMA/ARC Welding Setup

  1. Connect the Electrode Holder cable to the '+' (positive) terminal on the front panel.
  2. Tilslut jord Clamp cable to the '-' (negative) terminal on the front panel.

  5. Connect the MIG Torch cable to the '-' (negative) terminal on the front panel.

5.4 Lift TIG Welding Setup

  1. Connect the TIG Torch cable to the '-' (negative) terminal on the front panel.

6. Driftstilstande

The HBM1200 offers three welding modes: MMA/ARC, Flux Core MIG, and Lift TIG. Select the desired mode using the 'Welding Method' button on the control panel.

6.1 MMA/ARC Welding

  1. After connecting the electrode holder and ground clamp as described in Section 5.2, press the 'Welding Method' button until the 'MMA' indicator light is illuminated.
  2. Use the 'Rotary Selection Voltage' and 'Rotary Selection Current' knobs to set the desired welding parameters. Refer to your electrode manufacturer's recommendations for optimal settings.

6.2 Flux Core MIG Welding

  1. After installing the flux cored wire and connecting the MIG torch and ground clamp as described in Section 5.3, press the 'Welding Method' button until the 'Flux-cored' indicator light (0.8 or 1.0, depending on wire size) is illuminated.
  2. Use the 'Rotary Selection Voltage' and 'Rotary Selection Current' knobs to set the desired welding parameters.
  3. Test the wire feed by pressing the trigger on the MIG torch (ensure it's not aimed at anything flammable).
  4. Begin welding, maintaining a consistent gun angle and travel speed.

6.3 Lift TIG-svejsning

  1. After connecting the TIG torch and ground clamp as described in Section 5.4, press the 'Welding Method' button until the 'TIG' indicator light is illuminated.
  2. Use the 'Rotary Selection Voltage' and 'Rotary Selection Current' knobs to set the desired welding parameters.
  3. To initiate the arc, gently touch the tungsten electrode to the workpiece and then lift it slightly (approximately 1-3mm). The arc will start.
  4. Maintain a consistent arc length and feed filler rod manually if required.

7. Vedligeholdelse

  • Rensning: Periodically clean the exterior of the machine with a dry cloth. Use compressed air to blow out dust and debris from the ventilation grilles.
