1. Introduktion
The CEM DT-859B is a versatile 5-in-1 multifunction environment meter designed for professional and home use. It integrates the functions of a Sound Level Meter, Light Meter, Humidity Meter, Temperature Meter, and CFM/CMM Thermo-Anemometer into a single, portable device. This instrument is ideal for a wide range of applications including noise measurement in various environments, luminance assessment, environmental analysis, fume hood testing, and HVAC system assessment.
2. Produktet er slutview
The DT-859B combines five key environmental measurement capabilities:
- Sound Level Meter: For measuring noise levels in factories, schools, offices, and homes, and for checking acoustics.
- Lysmåler: For measuring luminance, fully cosine corrected for angular incidence of light. Utilizes a stable, long-life silicon diode.
- Humidity/Temperature Meter: Uses a humidity/semiconductor sensor and K-type thermocouple for accurate readings.
- CFM/CMM Thermo-Anemometer: Measures air velocity and flow, suitable for plant maintenance, environmental analysis, and HVAC systems.

4. Opsætning
4.1 Batteriinstallation
The DT-859B requires a 9V battery (or specified equivalent). To install or replace the battery:
- Find batteridækslet på bagsiden af enheden.
- Åbn dækslet ved at skubbe eller skrue det af.
- Isæt 9V-batteriet, og overhold den korrekte polaritet (+/-).
- Luk batterirummets dæksel forsvarligt.
4.2 Tilslutning af sonder
The DT-859B uses various external probes for its multifunctionality. Connect the desired probe to the corresponding port on the main unit. Ensure connections are firm to prevent inaccurate readings.
- Sound Level Probe: Connect the microphone probe to the designated audio input jack.
- Light Probe: Plug the light sensor probe into its dedicated port.
- Humidity/Temperature Probe: Connect the combined humidity and temperature sensor.
- Anemometer Vane Probe: Connect the anemometer vane to its input port.
- K-Type Thermocouple: For external temperature measurements, connect the K-type thermocouple to the appropriate input terminals.
