1. Introduktion

Note: Please use a specialized monitoring hard drive for optimal performance and longevity. The NVR supports 3.5" or 2.5" SATA hard disks. The hard disk should be formatted before its first use. It will automatically overwrite older videos when full if configured.

3.3 Camera Installation Tips

To ensure accurate surveillance, avoid common installation mistakes:

• Forkert Viewi vinkler: Do not install cameras too close to a wall, as IR light reflection can obscure night vision. Adjust the camera lens direction to be away from walls.
• Close Object Reflects: Objects too close to the camera lens can reflect IR light. Move objects away or change the camera's position.
• Close Wire Cable Reflects: Ensure power or Ethernet cables are not too close to the camera lens to prevent IR light reflection. Fix cables on the back of the camera.

4.1 Boot & Preview

After connecting power, the NVR indicator will light up, a buzzer sound will be heard, and the display will boot to the preview image. The device will automatically restore its previous state after a power failure.

4.2 Login system

Upon first login, a quick guide will assist with basic NVR setup. The default username is 'admin' and the password field should be left blank.

4.3 Time & Language Configuration

Access the 'Time - Language Configuration' menu to set the correct time, date, and preferred language (e.g., English, Russian, Italian, etc.) to match your local settings.

If your camera displays a pink or purple picture, go to IPC param. > Image Set and click 'IR Swap'.

5. Recording & Playback

6.1 Snapshot Configuration

Configure snapshots under Main Menu > System > SnapShot Conf.

• Cycle Capture: Cameras take snapshots periodically (e.g., every 64 seconds).
• EMAIL: NVR sends snapshots to your email address.
• FTP: NVR uploads snapshots to an FTP service (requires user-built FTP service).
• Opbevaring: NVR stores snapshots on the HDD.
• Timing Capture: Cameras take snapshots at user-defined times.

Configure intelligent alerts under Main Menu > Alarm > Intelligent Alert.

Install the XMEye Pro app by scanning the QR code or searching in your app store. Register an account, then add your device by inputting the NVR's serial number, username, and password. Once connected, you can view live video, manage settings, and access playback.

The app allows you to switch camera views (1CH-9CH), select SD/HD image quality, access cloud storage, and control lighting for compatible PoE cameras.

• Camera shows pink or purple picture: Navigate to IPC param. > Image Set and click 'IR Swap' to correct the color balance.
