6.2 Udførelse af en test
- From the main menu, use the Arrow buttons to highlight your desired test (e.g., 'Standard Test').
- Press the OK button to initiate the test.
- Follow any on-screen prompts, such as entering battery type (e.g., Regular Flooded, AGM Flat Plate, AGM Spiral, GEL, EFB) and CCA rating.
- The tester will perform the analysis and display the results on the screen.
- Review the results, which may include Battery State of Health (SOH), State of Charge (SOC), Voltage, intern modstand og CCA-værdi.
- For 'Start Test', you will be prompted to start the engine. The tester will then measure the cranking voltage.
- For 'Charge Test', you may be prompted to rev the engine to a certain RPM to test the alternator's output.
7. Brugertips
- For the most accurate readings, ensure battery terminals are clean and free of corrosion before connecting the tester.
- If testing a battery that has recently been charged, allow it to rest for at least 30 minutes before testing to get a stable reading.
- Always input the correct CCA rating and battery type as specified on your battery for precise results.
- The BT300 is powered by the battery it's testing, so it does not require internal batteries. This means it won't work if the battery is completely dead (below its minimum operating voltagog).
8. Vedligeholdelse
Proper maintenance will ensure the longevity and accuracy of your JDiag BT300 Car Battery Tester:
- Rensning: Keep the tester clean and dry. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth if necessary. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or corrosive chemicals.
- Opbevaring: Opbevar enheden på et køligt, tørt sted væk fra direkte sollys, fugt og ekstreme temperaturer.
- Inspektion: Regularly inspect the test leads and clamps for any signs of damage, fraying, or wear. Replace if necessary to maintain safe and accurate operation.
- Kabelpleje: Avoid sharp bends or kinks in the test cables. Do not pull the cables forcefully to disconnect the clamps.
9. Fejlfinding
If you encounter issues with your JDiag BT300, refer to the following troubleshooting guide:
- Enheden tændes ikke:
- Ensure the battery clamper sikkert forbundet til de korrekte batteripoler (rød til positiv, sort til negativ).
- Check if the vehicle battery has sufficient charge. The tester requires a minimum voltage to power on (typically above 6V for 12V systems). - Unøjagtige aflæsninger:
- Ensure clamps have good, clean contact with battery terminals. Clean terminals if corroded.
- Verify that the correct battery type and CCA input values are selected in the tester's settings.
- Allow the battery to rest for a period (e.g., 30 minutes) after charging or heavy use before testing. - 'Poor Contact' message:
- This indicates an insufficient connection between the clamps and the battery terminals. Re-clamp the tester firmly to the battery terminals. Clean any corrosion from the terminals. - Screen issues (e.g., glare, unreadable):
- Adjust your viewing angle or test in a shaded area to reduce light reflection. - Tester freezes or becomes unresponsive:
- Disconnect the tester from the battery, wait a few seconds, and then reconnect it to perform a soft reset.
