3. Installation

  1. Insert the controller into the prepared hole.
  2. Slide the bracket to fix the device (step two).

5. Betjening

5.1 Set Setpoints

  1. Tryk og hold på S button for 3 seconds. The display will show the temperature setpoint ("t" + "setpoint").
  2. Trykke S again to switch between temperature set status and humidity set status ("H" + "setpoint").
  3. Brug or buttons to adjust the setpoint. Holding the button will change the value faster.
  4. Tryk og hold på S button for 3 seconds to save the settings and exit.

If there is no key operation for 30 seconds, the setting status will exit, and changes will not be saved. Factory default setpoints are 38.0°C and 60.0%RH.

5.2 Set Parameters

  1. Tryk og hold på P button for 3 seconds. The display will show "PSd" + "0".
  2. If the password is "000", no password is needed. Otherwise, use or to set the correct password and press S for at bekræfte.
  3. After entering the parameter setting status, use S or P to select the parameter code (refer to the Parameter Code Table below).
  4. Bruge or to set the value of the parameter.
  5. Tryk og hold på P button for 3 seconds to save the settings and exit.

If there is no key operation for 30 seconds, the setting status will exit, and changes will not be saved.

5.4 Kontrolfunktioner

  • Timer Output R1: Energized/de-energized based on U41 (on time) and U43 (off time).
  • Temperaturkontrol:
    • PID kontrol: When U73 = 0.
    • TÆND/SLUK -kontrol: When U73 = 1, uses hysteresis control. R5 and external SSR energize/de-energize based on room temperature relative to setpoint and hysteresis (U16).
  • Beskyttelse mod høj temperatur: If room temperature exceeds setpoint + U12, R1 energizes. If it falls below setpoint + U13, R1 de-energizes.
  • Høj/lav temperatur alarm: Alarms (displaying "tHi" or "tLo") if room temperature exceeds setpoint + U15 or falls below setpoint - U14.
  • Fugtkontrol: R2 energizes/de-energizes based on room humidity relative to setpoint and hysteresis (U50), considering R2 delay protection time (U51).
  • High Humidity Protection: Similar to high temperature protection, R1 energizes/de-energizes based on room humidity relative to setpoint + U53 and setpoint + U54.
  • High/Low Humidity Alarm: Alarms (displaying "HHi" or "HLo") if room humidity exceeds setpoint + U56 or falls below setpoint - U55.
  • Egg Turning Control: R3/R4 are universal timer outputs designed for egg turning.
    • Timer funktion: R3 energizes for left turn (U62), R4 energizes for right turn (U64).
    • Full Egg Turn: One left turn + one right turn. The counter tracks full egg turns.
    • Manual Egg Turning: Trykker starts right turning, pressing starts left turning.
    • Egg Turn Counter Reset: Can be reset manually (S + ▼ for 5s) or automatically after power supplied (U66).
  • Incubated Days: The controller counts incubated days. The day counter stops when it reaches the maximum set (U69). Can be reset manually (S + ▲ for 5s) or automatically after power supplied (U68).
  • External Digital Input (DI): Configurable via U70 for different alarming modes (disabled, alarm if short, alarm if open).
  • Buzzer Alarming: Activates for failures or effective DI input (if U71 = 1). Press P to stop beeping.
  • Sensorkalibrering: Temperature (U30) and Humidity (U52) sensors can be calibrated.

6. PID Auto Tuning (AT)

Auto tuning helps optimize PID parameters for precise temperature control. Follow these steps:

  1. Set the Heater power during PID auto tuning (U74). The factory default is 50%.
  2. Set the desired temperature setpoint (SP) for auto tuning.
  3. Tryk og hold og simultaneously for 5 seconds. The U74 value will display, and "AT" will blink.
  4. Trykke P to start auto tuning.

During AT, the room temperature (PV) will fluctuate around the setpoint several times. The controller will calculate new PID parameters, and the "AT" display will turn off.

  • If AT fails, a reason will be displayed (e.g., "At1", "At2", "At3", "At4").
  • If AT is successful, "SUc" will display. Press any key to clear "SUc" and start PID control.
  • If AT never succeeds or fails, ensure sufficient heater power.
  • If AT lasts 180 minutes without finishing, it will stop and display "At4".

8. Brugertips

  • Regelmæssig rengøring: Periodically clean temperature and humidity sensors to ensure accurate readings. Dust or debris can affect performance.
  • Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation in the incubator or controlled environment to prevent hot spots and maintain stable conditions.
  • Testkørsel: Before placing valuable items (e.g., eggs) in the incubator, perform a test run for at least 24-48 hours to verify that temperature and humidity settings are stable and accurate.
  • Kraftstabilitet: Use a stable power source. Fluctuations can affect the controller's performance and longevity.
  • Sensorplacering: Place sensors away from direct heat sources or humidifiers to get a true reading of the ambient conditions.

9. Warning & Attention

  • Strømafbrydelse: Always disconnect power before performing any wiring or maintenance on the controller.
  • Professional Wiring: Electrical wiring must be performed by a certified electrician to prevent damage to the device or personal injury.
  • Korrekte forbindelser: Connect according to the electrical wiring diagram. Incorrect wiring will damage the device.
  • Sensor & Power Bundles: Do not route the sensor bundle together with the power supply bundle to avoid interference.
  • Miljø: Avoid operating the device in erosive, wet, or strong electrical-magnetic field environments.
  • Heater Power Rate: If the temperature heater power rate is high, or if using inductive loads (e.g., coil-wired heaters), use an external SSR-DA instead of the integrated SSR.
  • Other Loads: For large or capacitive/inductive loads (e.g., many humidifiers), it is advisable to use an intermediate relay, SSR-AA, or magnetic contactor.
  • Overload Damage: Damage due to overload is not covered under warranty.
