The KYORITSU KEW 2055 and KEW 2056R are high-precision AC/DC Digital Clamp Meters designed for professional use in power distribution, utilities, and maintenance fields. Opsætning

1. Batteriinstallation

The KEW 2055/2056R requires two R03 (1.5V) AAA batteries. To install or replace batteries:

  1. Sørg for, at måleren er slukket.

Betjeningsvejledning

Turn the rotary switch to the desired measurement function. Use the SELECT button to toggle between AC/DC modes or other sub-functions where applicable.

1. AC/DC strømmåling (Clamp Fungere)

2. AC/DC Voltage Måling

6. Temperature Measurement (KEW 2056R with optional probe)

  1. Connect the optional K-type temperature probe (Model 8216) to the meter.
  2. Turn the rotary switch to the Temp °C/°F function.
  3. Place the probe on the object to be measured.

  • Data Hold (H HOLD): Press the H HOLD button to freeze the current reading on the display. Press again to release.
  • Peak Hold (P PEAK): For capturing peak values of inrush current (AC A range only).
  • MIN / MAX: Press the MIN/MAX button to record the minimum and maximum values over a measurement period. This is particularly useful for monitoring load demand over extended periods.
  • Non-Contact Voltage (NCV): The red LED on the upper area of the panel lights up when AC voltage exceeding 100V is detected by the sensor in the jaws, providing a warning without direct contact.

Opretholdelse

1. Rensning

Wipe the meter with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the meter is dry before use or storage.

2. Udskiftning af batteri

Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display to ensure accurate readings and proper operation. Refer to the "Battery Installation" section for detailed steps.

3. Opbevaring

If the meter is not used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and damage. Store the meter in its carrying case (Model 9094) in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
