4. Opsætning

4.1 App Download & Account Registration

1. Download CAM720 APP from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android), or by scanning the QR code provided in the Quick User Guide.
2. Sign up for an account using your email address and then log in.

4.2 Power & Reset

1. Plug the power adapter into the camera's Type-C power port.
2. Long-press the reset button for approximately 5 seconds until you hear a "Di" sound. The camera will perform a self-inspection after two "Di" sounds.

4.3 WiFi-forbindelse

Requirements before WiFi connection:

• APP-tilladelser: Ensure GPS and all necessary permissions are enabled for the CAM720 APP. For iOS devices, enable location services via Settings > Privacy > Location Services.
• WiFi netværk: Ensure your router's WiFi name and password are not longer than 16 characters.
• Nærhed: For the initial connection, place the camera near the router. Your mobile phone should be connected to the same WiFi network.
• Frekvens: Some models only support 2.4Ghz WiFi. If your camera supports both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz, choose the appropriate frequency based on your installation location (2.4Ghz offers longer range, 5Ghz offers faster speed).

3. Follow the tips in the APP to connect your phone's WiFi to the camera's WiFi (named JA-*** or JAA-***). After connecting, return to the CAM720 APP.
4. Enter the correct password for the WiFi network your phone is connected to, then tap "Next Step".
5. Wait patiently for the device to connect. Once the camera is "online", tap the video feed to view.

4.4 Wired Connection (if applicable)

If your camera has a network port, it supports wired connection.

The CAM720 APP allows you to view live video streams from your camera. With dual lenses, you can monitor two different areas simultaneously within the app.

• Tap the video feed to start live viewing.
• Switch to full-screen image for a larger view.
• The app displays two video screens: one for the fixed position lens and one for the PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) lens.

5.2 PTZ Control & Cruise Detection

Control the camera's movement and set up automated patrols.

• Use the PTZ rotation control in the app to adjust the camera's horizontal (0°-355°) and vertical (0°-90°) angles.
• Set preset points for quick navigation to specific areas.
• Configure cruise detection for 360° timed patrols without missing important areas.

Communicate through the camera using the two-way intercom feature.

• Tap the microphone icon in the app to enable audio input.
• Tap the intercom icon to speak through the camera's speaker.

6. Installation

The camera can be installed indoors or outdoors, on a desktop, ceiling, or wall.

6.1 Indoor Camera Installation (Desktop, Ceiling, or Wall Mounted)

1. Choose your desired location (desktop, ceiling, or wall).
2. If wall or ceiling mounting, attach the bracket to the surface and mark the drilling points.
3. Drill holes using an appropriate drill bit (e.g., 6mm for wall mounting) and insert expansion plugs if necessary.
4. Align the bracket with the drilled holes and secure it with screws.
5. Attach the camera body to the bracket by holding and turning it tightly.

6.2 Outdoor Camera Installation

The camera is IP66 rated, making it suitable for outdoor use, resistant to weather, anti-lighting, thermostable, and antifreeze.

1. Assemble the bracket components (e.g., bracket A with bracket B).
2. Select a suitable outdoor location and install expansion screws on the wall.
3. Align the assembled bracket with the screws and tighten them securely.
4. Attach the camera body to the bracket, ensuring it is firmly in place.

• Always use a high-speed SD card to ensure smooth playback of recorded video.
• Regularly check the status of the SD card in the CAM720 APP.
• If recording issues occur, try formatting the SD card or replacing it with a new one.
