3. Opsætning

3.1 Ledningsforbindelser

  1. Motorforbindelse: Connect the three output wires (14AWG, 130mm) from the ESC to the three phase wires of your brushless motor. The order of connection may affect motor rotation direction. If the motor spins in the wrong direction, swap any two of the ESC's output wires.

  4. BEC (Battery Eliminator Circuit): The PCU 80HV ESC does NOT include a built-in BEC. You MUST use an external BEC or a separate power source to supply power to your receiver and flight controller. Failure to do so will result in no power to your control system.

3.2 Montering

Mount the ESC securely in a location that allows for adequate airflow to the heat sink. Avoid mounting it in enclosed spaces where heat can build up. The dimensions are 80x36x23mm. Use appropriate fasteners or double-sided tape to secure the ESC, ensuring it is protected from vibrations and physical damage.

4.1 Initial Power-Up and Throttle Calibration (Recommended)

Although no programming is needed, performing a throttle range calibration with your transmitter is highly recommended for optimal performance and safety:

  1. Ensure your transmitter is powered on and the throttle stick is at its maximum position.
  2. Connect the main battery to the ESC.
  3. Listen for a series of beeps from the motor, indicating the ESC has detected the maximum throttle signal.
