4. Opsætning og installation

This hardwire kit is designed for a clean, permanent installation, enabling 24-hour parking monitoring. The installation involves connecting to your car's fuse box. If you are unsure about any steps, please consult a professional.

4.1 Ledningsdiagram ovenforview

Fastledningssættet har tre ledninger:

• Yellow wire (BAT+): Connects to a constant power source (always on).
• Red wire (ACC): Connects to an accessory power source (on when ignition is on).
• Black wire (GND): Connects to a ground point on the car chassis.

4.2 Step-by-Step Installation Instructions

1. Connect to the power interface of the recorder: Plug the Mini USB or Type-C USB connector into your dash cam or portable recorder.
2. Åbn sikringsboksens dæksel: The position of the fuse box varies by vehicle model. Refer to your car's manual to locate it.
3. Installation and use of step-down line:
   To judge normal power and ACC:
   - Use an electric pen or multimeter. When the vehicle is turned off, the light is off (no power) is ACC.
   - The red wire of the step-down wire is connected to the car ACC (the light is not on when the car is off).
   - The yellow wire of the step-down wire is connected to the normal power of the car (the light is on when the car is off).
4. Connect the black wire with iron and fasten it with the car screws: The black wire (GND) should be securely connected to a metal part of the car chassis to ensure a proper ground connection.
5. Test whether the step-down line is working properly:
   - When the vehicle is started, the LED light of the step-down line should be blue. This indicates the output of the step-down line is normal, and the recorder should turn on and work normally.
   - When the vehicle is turned off, the LED of the step-down line should be red. The ACC of the step-down line turns off the output, and the recorder enters parking monitoring mode.
6. Then hide the wire along the edge into the gap and fix the wire harness: Carefully route the cable along the vehicle's interior trim, tucking it into gaps to conceal it and prevent interference with driving. Use a tool to help tuck the harness into tight spaces.
7. Close the fuse box cover - complete: Once all connections are secure and tested, replace the fuse box cover.

The cable is approximately 3.2 meters long, providing ample length for routing. Ensure the cable is routed safely and does not obstruct airbags or other vehicle functions.

5. Betjeningsvejledning

Once correctly installed, the hardwire kit will automatically manage power to your connected device based on your vehicle's ignition status.

• When the car engine is ON: The hardwire kit will provide continuous power to your device, and the device will operate in its normal recording mode.
• When the car engine is OFF: The hardwire kit will switch to battery power, enabling your device's 24-hour parking monitoring function. The device will continue to receive power from the car battery until the low voltage protection threshold is met.

5.1 Lav Voltage Beskyttelse
