4. Installationsvejledning

4.1 Før du begynder

- Gather necessary tools (e.g., screwdrivers, wire cutters, electrical tape, multimeter).
- Familiarize yourself with the existing wiring of your M4pro scooter.

The controller features multiple color-coded wires and connectors. Carefully match each connector from the new controller to the corresponding connector on your scooter. Refer to the image below for a visual guide to the various connections.

Common connections typically include:
- Strømkabler: Thick red and black wires (often with XT60 or similar connector) for battery connection.
- Motorfaseledninger: Tre tykke ledninger (f.eks. gul, grøn, blå) der forbindes til motoren.
- Hall-sensorledninger: A thinner multi-wire connector for motor position sensing.
- Gashåndtag/Speeder: Connector for the speed control.
- Bremsehåndtag: Connectors for brake signal input (low level).

- Lights/Horn: Auxiliary power connections.
- Selvlærende ledninger: Often two white wires that, when connected briefly, allow the controller to learn motor parameters.
Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated. Incorrect wiring can cause damage to the controller, motor, or battery.
4.3 Kontrol efter installation
- Dobbelttjek alle forbindelser for tæthed og korrekt polaritet.
- Tilslut batteriet igen.
- Perform a low-speed test in a safe, open area to ensure proper function of the motor, throttle, and brakes.
5. Betjeningsvejledning
Once correctly installed, the controller operates automatically to manage the electric scooter's motor. Its intelligent design ensures smooth acceleration and efficient power usage based on throttle input and other sensor data.
- Tænd/sluk: The controller powers on/off with the scooter's main power switch.
- Acceleration: Use the scooter's throttle to control speed. The controller will translate your input into motor power.
- Bremsning: Activating the scooter's brake levers will send a low-level signal to the controller, which will cut power to the motor and engage braking.
- Lav voltage Beskyttelse: The controller is designed to protect the battery by cutting power when the voltage drops below 39V, preventing over-discharge.
6. Vedligeholdelse
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your motor controller:
- Hold tør: Beskyt controlleren mod vand og for meget fugt. Mens casing tilbyder en vis beskyttelse, den er ikke fuldt vandtæt.
