3.2 Selvtestknap
The self-test button allows you to display test patterns on the screen without an active Ethernet connection. To activate:
- Ensure the Ethernet cable is disconnected.
- Press the button twice in quick succession to display the first test pattern.
- Press the button again to cycle through available test patterns.
4. Betjeningsvejledning
4.1 Indikatorlys
The MRV412-N features two indicator lights to provide status information:
| Indikator | Farve | Status | Beskrivelse |
|---|---|---|---|
| Løbeindikator | Grøn | Blinker en gang hver 1.s | Receiving card functioning normally. Ethernet cable connection is normal, and video source input is available. |
| Blinker en gang hver 3.s | Ethernet-kabelforbindelsen er unormal. | ||
| Blinker 3 gange hvert 0.5 sekund | Ethernet-kabelforbindelsen er normal, men videokildeindgangen er ikke tilgængelig. | ||
| Blinker en gang hver 0.2.s | Receiving card failed to load the program in the application area and is now using the backup program. | ||
| Blinker 8 gange hvert 0.5 sekund | Der er opstået en redundansskifte på Ethernet-porten, og loop-backup'en er trådt i kraft. | ||

4.2 Customizing Stored Images
The MRV412-N allows you to customize the image displayed during startup or when the Ethernet cable is disconnected or there is no video signal. This feature can be configured through the associated control software.
5. Vedligeholdelse
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Novastar MRV412-N receiving card, follow these general maintenance guidelines:
- Hold rent: Regularly clean the card and its connectors to prevent dust accumulation, which can lead to overheating or poor connections. Use a soft, dry cloth or compressed air.
- Miljøforhold: Operate the card within recommended temperature and humidity ranges. Avoid extreme conditions.
- Firmware and Configuration Backup: The card supports Firmware Program Readback and Configuration Parameter Readback. Regularly back up your firmware and configuration settings to a local computer. This is crucial for recovery in case of data corruption or accidental changes.
- Dual Program Backup: The card is equipped with dual program backup, meaning two copies of the firmware are stored. If the application program becomes corrupted, the card can revert to the factory backup program.
- Dual Configuration Parameter Backup: Configuration parameters are stored in both the application and factory areas. If needed, you can restore parameters from the factory area.
6. Fejlfinding
This section provides guidance on diagnosing and resolving common issues with the MRV412-N receiving card.
6.1 Using Indicator Lights for Diagnosis
Refer to the 'Indicator Lights' table in Section 4.1 to diagnose issues based on the status of the Running and Power indicators. For exampdet:
- If the green Running indicator flashes once every 3 seconds, the Ethernet cable connection is abnormal. Check the cable and connections.
- If the green Running indicator flashes 3 times every 0.5 seconds, the Ethernet cable connection is normal, but the video source input is unavailable. Verify the video source.
- If the green Running indicator flashes once every 0.2 seconds, the card is using its backup program. This indicates a potential issue with the main program in the application area.
6.2 Network Communication Problems
The MRV412-N features Bit Error Detection, which provides real-time monitoring of the Ethernet port communication. If you experience network issues, check the error detection logs (via control software) to pinpoint problems.
6.3 Display Faults and Redundancy
The card supports Loop Backup. If a fault occurs in the primary line connection between the receiving card and controller, the system can automatically switch to the backup line, allowing the screen to continue displaying the image normally. Ensure your system is configured for loop backup for enhanced reliability.
6.4 Konfigurationsproblemer
If display issues arise due to incorrect configuration, utilize the Dual Backup of Configuration Parameters feature. You can restore the configuration parameters from the factory area to the application area using the appropriate software tools.
