5. Opsætning

5.1 Installation

The camera offers flexible installation options to suit your monitoring needs:

• Læg fladt: Placer kameraet på en flad overflade.
• Vægbeslag: Secure the camera to a wall using the provided mounting bracket and screws.
• Loftmontering: Attach the camera to the ceiling using the mounting bracket and screws.

Ensure the camera is installed at a height of approximately 1.2-1.4 meters for optimal coverage, especially for motion detection.

5.2 Strømtilslutning

Connect the camera to a power source using the provided USB power cable and adapter. The camera requires a DC5V1.5A power input via its Type-C port. This camera does not have an internal battery and must be continuously plugged into a power source to operate.

5.3 Download af app og oprettelse af konto

1. Download cam720 APP from your device's app store (available for Android and iOS).

5.4 Netværksforbindelse

The camera supports 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz WiFi connections. Keep the camera and your WiFi router within two meters during the initial setup for a stable connection.

1. WiFi-forbindelse: Select 'WiFi connection' in the cam720 app and follow the prompts to connect your camera to your home WiFi network.
2. Bluetooth (BT) Configuration: The device connects via Bluetooth for initial setup. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.
3. Netværkskabelforbindelse (valgfrit): If available, you can connect the camera to your router's LAN port using a network cable for a more stable connection.
4. Enhedens hotspot: In some cases, you may connect directly to the camera's hotspot for initial configuration.

5.5 Installation af SD-kort

Locate the SD card slot on the camera (refer to Figure 4.3). Insert a high-speed MicroSD card (up to 256GB) into the slot. Ensure the camera is powered off before inserting or removing the SD card.

6. Betjeningsvejledning

6.1 Dual Lens & Dual Screen Monitoring

The camera features two lenses: a fixed lower lens to detect important areas and a rotatable upper lens for tracking. This allows for simultaneous monitoring of two different areas on a single screen within the cam720 app.

6.2 PTZ Control and Cruise Detection

The upper lens supports Pan (355°) and Tilt (90°) movements, allowing you to remotely adjust the viewing angle. The camera also supports 360° timed cruise detection, ensuring no important area is missed.

6.3 Bevægelsesdetektion og advarsler

The camera features intelligent motion detection with Light & Sound Drive. When motion is detected, the camera can trigger a sound alarm and flash its white lights to deter intruders. You will receive alert information pushes to your phone, helping to prevent property loss.

• Timing Full Color: Full-color vision during specific times.

6.5 Tovejslyd

Communicate directly through the camera using the built-in microphone and speaker. This allows you to see and talk with people near the camera, such as delivery personnel or visitors.

6.6 Fjernadgang og deling med flere brugere

Monitor your property from anywhere using the cam720 app on your smartphone. You can also share camera access with up to 5 sub-accounts, allowing family members or trusted individuals to view det levende feed.

6.7 Videolagring og -afspilning

The camera offers two storage options:

• MicroSD-kort: Supports up to 256GB for 24/7 recording.
• Cloud Storage: Available (subscription may be required after initial free trial).

7. Vedligeholdelse

8. Fejlfinding

• Kameraet opretter ikke forbindelse til WiFi: Ensure the camera is within two meters of the router during setup. Check if your WiFi password is correct. Try resetting the camera using the reset button.
• Ingen videofeed: Verify the camera is powered on and connected to the network. Check your internet connection.
• SD-kort optager ikke: Ensure the SD card is properly inserted and formatted within the app. Check if the card is full.
• Bevægelsesdetekteringsadvarsler ikke modtaget: Check app notification settings on your phone and within the cam720 app. Ensure motion detection is enabled.
• Dårligt nattesyn: Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from obstructions. Check if the night vision mode is set correctly.
• Cannot connect to NVR: The camera supports RTSP protocol. While not explicitly ONVIF certified, it may be compatible with NVRs that support RTSP streams. Refer to your NVR's manual for adding cameras via RTSP.
• Camera needs to be plugged in: This camera operates on mains electricity (DC5V1.5A) and does not have a rechargeable battery. It must be continuously plugged in.

• For continuous recording, ensure a sufficiently large SD card is installed (e.g., 128GB for 15-25 days of recording).
• If you experience lag during recorded video playback, ensure you are using a high-speed SD card.
