• Boiler Control (Dry Contact): Connect the boiler control wires to terminals '1' and '2'. These are dry contacts that switch the boiler on/off.
• NTC sensor: If using an external temperature sensor (e.g., for floor heating), connect the sensor wires to terminals '3' and '4'.
• MODBUS: Terminals 'A' and 'B' are for MODBUS communication, typically used in commercial or integrated systems. Consult a professional for MODBUS integration.

5.3 Montering

The thermostat is designed for standard wall-box installation. After wiring, secure the back plate to the wall box, then attach the front panel to the back plate.

6. Betjening

6.1 Manuel kontrol

The thermostat features a touch screen interface for direct control:

• Power knap: Press to turn the thermostat ON or OFF.
• Mode-knap (M): Cycle through different operating modes (e.g., Manual, Programmed).

6.3 Stemmekontrol

6.4 Programmeringsplaner

The thermostat supports weekly programming with 6 time-modes per day. Detailed instructions for setting schedules are available within the Ewelink app interface. This allows you to set different temperatures for various times of the day and days of the week to match your lifestyle and save energy.

7. Brugertips

• WiFi-forbindelse: When connecting to WiFi, ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz network, as some smart devices do not support 5GHz networks. Follow the Ewelink app's instructions carefully for pairing.
• Sensorplacering: For accurate temperature readings, ensure the thermostat is not exposed to direct sunlight, drafts, or heat sources. If using an external floor sensor, place it strategically to measure the floor temperature effectively.
• Energibesparelse: Utilize the weekly programming feature to set lower temperatures when you are away or asleep, and higher temperatures when you are home, to optimize energy consumption.

8. Vedligeholdelse

9. Fejlfinding

• Ingen strøm: Check the main power supply to the thermostat and ensure all wiring connections (N and L terminals) are secure.
• Termostaten opretter ikke forbindelse til WiFi:
  • Ensure your WiFi router is operating on a 2.4GHz frequency.
  • Verify the WiFi password entered in the Ewelink app is correct.
  • Move the thermostat closer to the WiFi router during the initial pairing process.
  • Restart your router and try the pairing process again.
• Forkerte temperaturaflæsninger: Check if the thermostat is exposed to direct heat sources, cold drafts, or direct sunlight. Ensure the external NTC sensor (if used) is correctly connected to terminals 3 and 4 and is not damaged.
• Boiler Not Responding: Verify that the boiler control wires are correctly connected to the 'Dry Contact' terminals 1 and 2. Check the boiler's own power and operational status.
• Problemer med stemmestyring: Ensure your Ewelink account is correctly linked to Amazon Alexa or Google Home, and that the thermostat device is discovered and named appropriately in the respective apps.
