EWT support FAQ
Almindelige spørgsmål om manualer, registrering og support for dette mærke.
-
Why is my new EWT heater emitting smoke or a smell?
During first use, the heater may emit a small amount of smoke or odor. This is normal and is caused by the burning off of a protective film on the heating element. Ventilate the room, and it should disappear quickly.
-
Can I use an extension lead with my EWT radiator?
No. Do not use the appliance with an extension lead, plug-in timer, or remote control adapter. These devices can overheat due to the high current drawn by the heater, posing a fire risk.
-
What does the Intelligent (Eco) Heat mode do?
In Intelligent (Eco) mode, the product operates at full power initially but automatically reduces and regulates output as the room approaches the desired temperature, optimizing energy efficiency.
-
What should I do if my EWT heater tips over?
If the radiator is tipped over, the tilt switch will stop it from working. Unplug the unit, allow it to cool, and then stand it back upright before reconnecting power.
-
How much clearance does the heater need?
Ensure there is a clearance of at least 300mm above the heater and 150mm on each side. Do not place it immediately below a fixed socket outlet or near flammable materials like curtains.
