4. Opsætning

  1. Place the main unit on a stable, heat-resistant, and non-flammable surface. Ensure adequate clearance around the unit for ventilation.
  2. Connect the soldering iron to its designated port on the front panel of the main unit. Ensure the connection is secure.
  3. Connect the hot air gun to its designated port on the front panel of the main unit. Ensure the connection is secure.
  4. Place the soldering iron into its stand.
  5. Select and attach the desired hot air nozzle to the hot air gun.
  6. Sæt netledningen i en jordet stikkontakt.

5. Betjeningsvejledning

5.1 Tænd/sluk

  • To power on the unit, flip the main power switch located on the front panel.
  • Individually switch on the 'SMD REWORK STATION' (hot air) or 'SOLDERING STATION' (iron) using their respective ON/OFF buttons.
  • To power off, reverse these steps.

5.2 Loddejerns drift

  • Once the soldering station is powered on, the digital display will show the current temperature.
  • Use the 'UP' and 'DOWN' arrow buttons to adjust the desired temperature. The temperature range is 392°F to 896°F (200°C to 480°C).
  • Allow the iron to reach the set temperature before use. The PID control ensures rapid heating and stable temperature.
  • Sove mode: The soldering iron features an adjustable sleep mode (1-99 minutes). If idle for the set duration, the iron will enter sleep mode, reducing its temperature to 392°F (200°C) to conserve tip life. Picking up the iron will quickly bring it back to the set operating temperature.

5.3 Betjening af varmluftpistol

  • Power on the hot air rework station. The display will show the current temperature and airflow level.
  • Use the 'UP' and 'DOWN' arrow buttons to adjust the desired hot air temperature. The temperature range is 212°F to 896°F (100°C to 480°C).
  • Adjust the airflow using the 'AIR' knob. Start with a lower airflow and increase as needed for your application.
  • Always ensure the hot air gun is placed in its holder when not in use. The unit will automatically cool down the heating element before shutting off the fan when placed in the holder.

5.4 Recommended Temperatures for Soldering

The optimal soldering temperature depends on the solder type and component. A general rule of thumb is to set the iron temperature approximately 50°C (90°F) above the solder's melting point to ensure good wetting and an additional 100°C (180°F) for thermal recovery.

  • For Lead-Free Solder (e.g., Sn-Ag-Cu, melting point ~220°C / 428°F): Recommended iron temperature is approximately 370°C (698°F).

6. Vedligeholdelse

6.1 Soldering Tip Maintenance

  • Rensning: Regularly clean the soldering tip using the brass wool in the stand. For stubborn oxidation, use a tip tinner/cleaner.
  • Fortinning: Always tin the tip with a small amount of solder before storing and after cleaning to prevent oxidation and prolong tip life.
  • Udskiftning: Replace tips when they become excessively worn or corroded, affecting heat transfer.

6.2 Hot Air Nozzle Maintenance

  • Ensure nozzles are free from solder splatter or debris. Clean gently with a non-abrasive tool if necessary, only when the unit is cool.
  • Ensure nozzles are securely attached to the hot air gun.

6.3 General Unit Cleaning

  • Afbryd strømmen til enheden før rengøring.
  • Tør ydersiden af enheden af med en blød, damp klæde. Brug ikke slibende rengøringsmidler eller opløsningsmidler.
  • Ensure no liquids enter the unit's vents or ports.
