Opsætning

Before using the tool, ensure it is properly assembled and secured.

1. Install the Chain Connector Ring and Handle:

   Attach the ring and handle components to the chain connector mechanism. Ensure they are securely tightened.

A. Chain Breaking

1. Placer kæden: Place the chainsaw chain onto the tool's base, aligning the pin you wish to break with the punch. Ensure the chain is stable in the chain clip and sprocket guide.
2. Engage the Punch: Slowly lower the punch using the hydraulic pump handle until it makes contact with the chain pin.
3. Break the Chain: Apply steady, gradual pressure to the hydraulic pump handle. The punch will push the pin out, breaking the chain. Avoid sudden or excessive force.
4. Remove Broken Chain: Once the pin is pushed out, carefully remove the separated chain sections from the tool.

B. Chain Connecting (Riveting)

1. Prepare Chain Ends: Place the two ends of the chain you wish to connect onto the riveting base. Ensure the links are properly aligned and a new rivet pin is in place.
2. Select Rivet Head: Choose the appropriate hexagonal or round rivet head for your chain type and attach it to the rocker arm mechanism.
3. Align and Rivet: Position the chain and rivet head. Turn the two handles of the rocker arm in opposite directions simultaneously. This action will press and expand the rivet pin, securely connecting the chain.
