4. Opsætning

4.1 Strømtilslutning

The RBM2500 PRO supports dual voltage operation (120V/240V).

  1. Ensure the power switch on the welder is in the OFF position.
  2. Connect the appropriate power cord to the welder's input receptacle.
  3. Plug the power cord into a suitable grounded electrical outlet. For 240V operation, ensure the outlet is rated for the welder's maximum current draw.

4.2 Gasforbindelse (for gas MIG/TIG)

For Gas MIG and Lift TIG welding, a shielding gas cylinder is required.

  1. Securely mount your CO2 or Argon/CO2 mix gas cylinder.
  2. Attach the provided CO2 gas regulator to the cylinder valve. Ensure a tight seal.
  3. Connect the gas hose from the regulator to the gas inlet fitting on the rear of the welder.
  4. Slowly open the cylinder valve. Adjust the flowmeter on the regulator to the desired gas flow rate (typically 15-25 CFH for MIG).

4.3 Wire Installation (for MIG/Flux Core)

  1. Åbn trådspolerummet.
  2. Placer trådspolen på spindlen, og sørg for, at den roterer frit.
  3. Thread the welding wire through the wire feed mechanism, ensuring it passes through the correct groove on the drive roller for your wire size.
  4. Close the wire pressing wheel to apply tension to the wire.
  5. With the MIG torch straight, press the trigger to feed the wire through the torch liner until it exits the contact tip.

5. Driftstilstande

The RBM2500 PRO offers 8-in-1 welding capabilities for various materials and applications.

Illustration showing various metal types that can be welded

Image: Visual representation of various metal types that can be welded, including Aluminum, Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Iron, and Alloy, indicating the welder's versatility.

5.1 Gas MIG Welding (GMAW)

Used for welding steel, stainless steel, and aluminum with a shielding gas.

  • Select the 'Gas MIG' mode on the control panel.
  • Ensure gas is connected and flowing.
  • Juster voltage and wire feed speed according to material thickness and wire type.
  • Tilslut jorden clamp til arbejdsemnet.
  • Begynd svejsningen, og hold en konstant bevægelseshastighed og lysbuelængde.

5.2 Flux Core Welding (FCAW)

Gasless welding, suitable for outdoor use or when gas is not available.

  • Select the 'Flux Core' mode. No shielding gas is required.
  • Use flux-cored wire.
  • Juster voltage og trådfremføringshastighed.
  • Tilslut jorden clamp til arbejdsemnet.
  • Weld as needed, noting that flux core welding produces more spatter and requires slag removal.

5.3 Lift TIG Welding (GTAW)

Provides precise welds, especially for thinner materials. Requires a TIG torch (sold separately) and Argon gas.

  • Select the 'Lift TIG' mode.
  • Tilslut TIG-brænderen og jordforbindelsenamp.
  • Ensure Argon gas is connected and flowing.
  • Sæt ampslette.
  • Touch the tungsten electrode to the workpiece to initiate the arc, then lift slightly to maintain the arc.

5.4 Stick Welding (MMA/SMAW)

Versatile for various materials and conditions using coated electrodes.

  • Select the 'Stick' (MMA) mode.
  • Tilslut elektrodeholderen og jordforbindelsenamp.
  • Sæt den passende elektrode i holderen.
  • Sæt amperage based on electrode type and size.
  • Strike the arc and maintain a consistent arc length and travel speed.

5.5 Punktsvejsning

For joining two overlapping pieces of sheet metal at specific points.

  • Select the 'Spot' mode.
  • Adjust settings for material thickness and desired spot weld duration.
  • Position the torch and ground clamp appropriately for spot welding.

5.6 Spool Gun & Aluminum Modes

Optimized for aluminum welding with a spool gun (sold separately) and Argon gas.

  • Connect a compatible spool gun to the welder.
  • Select the 'Aluminum' mode.
  • Ensure Argon gas is connected and flowing.
  • Adjust settings for aluminum wire and material thickness.

6. Vedligeholdelse

Regelmæssig vedligeholdelse sikrer din svejsemaskines lange levetid og sikker drift.

  • Daglig: Inspect all cables, connections, and the MIG torch for damage. Clean the contact tip and nozzle.
  • Ugentligt/Månedligt: Use compressed air to blow out dust and debris from the welder's cooling vents. Check the wire feed rollers for wear and cleanliness. Inspect the gas regulator for leaks.
  • Periodisk: Check internal connections and components for signs of wear or overheating. This should only be done by qualified personnel with the power disconnected.
  • Opbevar svejsemaskinen et rent og tørt sted, når den ikke er i brug.
