User Manual for Garden Cantilever Umbrella

1. Introduktion

This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective assembly, operation, and maintenance of your new Garden Cantilever Umbrella. Please read this manual thoroughly before use and retain it for future reference.

3. Opsætning og montering

Follow these steps carefully to assemble your cantilever umbrella:

1. Step 1: Assemble the Cross Base. Place the cross base on a flat, stable surface. Ensure it is level.

2. Step 2: Attach the Main Pole. Securely attach the main pole assembly to the center of the cross base using the provided hardware. Ensure all bolts are tightened.

4. Step 4: Add Base Weights (Recommended). For optimal stability, especially in outdoor environments, place heavy base weights (e.g., sandbags, concrete blocks, or specialized umbrella base weights) onto the cross base. These are typically sold separately.

4. Betjeningsvejledning

4.1 Opening and Closing the Umbrella

Your cantilever umbrella features a convenient crank mechanism for easy operation.

• For at åbne: Turn the crank handle clockwise until the canopy is fully extended and taut. Do not over-crank.
• At lukke: Turn the crank handle counter-clockwise until the canopy is fully retracted and folded. Secure the canopy with any attached straps.

4.2 Tilting the Canopy

The umbrella canopy can be tilted to provide optimal shade throughout the day.

• Locate the tilting handle or button on the main pole or arm.
• Press or release the mechanism and adjust the canopy to your desired angle.
• Ensure the mechanism locks securely in place after adjustment.

4.3 360-graders rotation

The entire umbrella can rotate 360 degrees on its base to follow the sun's movement.

• Locate the foot pedal or locking mechanism at the base of the main pole.
• Depress or release the pedal to unlock the rotation.

• Rensning: The polyester canopy is easy to clean. Use a mild soap solution and a soft brush or cloth. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow to air dry completely before closing or storing.
• Vandtætning: If the umbrella is subjected to heavy rainfall, it is recommended to treat the fabric with a waterproofing spray periodically to maintain its water-repellent properties.
• Opbevaring: When not in use for extended periods or during off-season, close the umbrella, secure it with its strap, and cover it with a protective cover (not included). Store in a dry, sheltered location to prevent damage from elements.
• Inspektion: Regularly check all bolts, nuts, and moving parts for tightness and proper function. Lubricate moving parts if necessary.
