5. Opsætning

5.1 Strømtilslutning

Connect the welder to a suitable power supply (230 Volts AC). Ensure the power outlet is properly grounded and can handle the machine's current requirements. The soft-start feature will slowly power on the unit.

5.2-leder installation

Open the wire feed compartment. Place the appropriate welding wire spool (1kg or 5kg) onto the spindle. Thread the wire through the wire pressing wheel and into the wire feeding roller, then into the MIG torch liner.

5.3 Gas Connection (for Gas MIG)

If performing Gas MIG welding, connect one end of the gas hose to the gas inlet on the rear of the welder and the other end to your gas cylinder regulator. Ensure all connections are secure and leak-free.

5.4 Tilslutning af tilbehør

6.1 Kontrolpanel overview

6.2 Valg af tilstand

Use the mode selection knob to choose between MMA/Stick, MAN MIG (Manual MIG), SYN MIG (Synergic MIG), and Lift TIG. The display will show the selected mode.

6.3 Synergic vs. Manual MIG

• Synergisk MIG: The machine automatically sets optimal current and wire feed speed based on your selected wire diameter and gas type. This is ideal for beginners or quick setup.
• Manuel MIG: Provides full control over voltage and wire feed speed, allowing experienced welders to fine-tune settings for specific applications.

6.4 2T/4T Modes

• 2T (To-berøringsfunktion): Press and hold the torch trigger to weld; release to stop. Suitable for short welds.
• 4T (fire-berøringsfunktion): Press and release the trigger to start welding; press and release again to stop. Ideal for long welds, reducing hand fatigue.

6.5 Welding Aluminum

The RBM2500 has pre-programmed settings for aluminum. Select the 'Al+Ar' option on the display. For best results, use a 15AK MIG gun with a Teflon liner or an optional spool gun (not included) to ensure smooth feeding of soft aluminum wire.
