5. Kompatibilitet

6. Opsætning og installation
Follow these steps carefully to install your BAFANG 48V 500W Rear Hub Motor Kit. It is recommended to have basic bicycle maintenance knowledge or seek professional assistance if unsure.

- Klargør din cykel:
- Remove your existing rear wheel.
- Ensure the rear dropout width is compatible (135-142mm).
- Installer navmotorhjulet:
- Carefully install the BAFANG rear hub motor wheel into your bike's rear dropout.
- Secure it firmly with the provided nuts and washers.
- Monter controllerboksen:
- Find a suitable location on your bike frame for the controller box, typically near the seat tube or down tube.
- Secure the controller box using the provided plastic straps or mounting hardware.
- Installer bremsegreb/sensorer:
- Replace your existing brake levers with the provided e-bike brake levers, or install the brake sensors onto your existing levers.
- Ensure the brake cut-off function is correctly installed and tested.
- Installer tommelfingergashåndtag:
- Mount the thumb throttle on your handlebar in a comfortable and accessible position.
- Installer PAS-sensor:
- Install the Left Pedal Assist Sensor (PAS) on your bike's bottom bracket, ensuring the magnets and sensor are correctly aligned and spaced.
- Connect 1T4 Cable:
- Connect the 1T4 cable to the controller. This cable typically branches out to connect the display, throttle, and brake levers/sensors.

7.1 Køretilstande
- Gashåndtag: Engage the thumb throttle to propel the bike without pedaling. The motor provides power directly based on throttle input.
- Pedalhjælpstilstand (PAS): The motor provides assistance as you pedal. The level of assistance can be adjusted via the display (typically 3, 5, or 9 levels). This mode extends battery life and reduces rider effort.

- Kun pedaltilstand: The motor provides no assistance, and the bike functions as a traditional bicycle.
