Indledning

The Stylophone Stylosette is a compact, portable analog synthesizer designed for instant music creation. Upon opening your Stylosette package, please ensure all the following items are present:

• Stylophone Stylosette unit
• 2 x AAA batterier
• Connection cables (including crocodile clips)

Opsætning

1. Batteri installation:

   Locate the battery compartment on the rear of the Stylosette. Insert 2 x AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated. The Stylosette is designed to operate without a back cover, which is normal.
2. Tænd:

   Locate the power switch, typically on the side or top edge of the unit. Slide it to the 'ON' position. The unit is now ready for use.

3. Hovedtelefontilslutning (valgfrit):

   For private listening or connecting to external audio equipment, plug standard 3.5mm headphones or an audio cable into the "PHONES" jack on the side of the unit. The internal speaker will automatically mute when headphones are connected.

Expansion Port and External Connectivity

The Stylosette features an expansion port for advanced connectivity and creative experimentation. This port allows you to trigger sounds using external conductive objects and interface with other musical equipment.

• "Wild Keyboard" Functionality:

  Use the provided crocodile clips and cables to connect conductive objects (e.g., fruits, vegetables, metal utensils) to the input pins (Pins 1-13) on the expansion port. Connect one cable to Pin 14 (common ground). By holding the common ground cable and touching the connected objects, you can play notes. This allows for unique and interactive musical experiences.
• Advanced Patching:

  The expansion port also includes patch points for LFO in/out, CV in/out, and additional ground patches. These allow for integration with modular synthesizers and other compatible equipment, vastly expanding the sound design possibilities. The included screwdriver can be used to adjust internal parameters like speed, depth, and delay for further customization.

Opretholdelse

• Rensning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface of the Stylosette. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish or electronic components.
