5. Installationsvejledning
The Lefton LGD-714 garbage disposal features a user-friendly 3-bolt mounting system and a pre-installed power cord for simplified installation.
5.1 Kompatibilitet
This disposal is designed for universal compatibility with Lefton Kitchen Sink models. Ensure the drain control device is removed from the sink before installation.

5.2 Mounting Assembly

5.3 Tilslutning af opvaskemaskine
A convenient knockout hole is provided for seamless connection to your dishwasher drain hose. Remove the knockout plug before connecting the dishwasher drain.

6. Betjeningsvejledning
The LGD-714 is a continuous feed disposal designed for efficient food waste processing.
6.1 Daglig drift
- Turn on the cold water faucet to a moderate flow.
- Tænd for affaldsafbryderen.
- Scrape food waste into the sink opening. The 3/4 HP motor and 2700 RPM speed ensure efficient grinding.
- Allow the disposal to run until all food waste is cleared and only the sound of water and the motor is heard.
- Turn off the disposal, then turn off the cold water.

6.2 Stopper and Splash Guard
The included sink drain stopper and removable splash guard are essential for safe and effective operation. The splash guard helps contain food particles during grinding, and the stopper can be used to fill the sink with water.

8. Fejlfinding
If your disposal encounters an issue, refer to the following common solutions:
8.1 Disposal Does Not Start
- Tjek strøm: Ensure the disposal is properly plugged into a working outlet. Check your circuit breaker or fuse box.
- Nulstil knap: The disposal is equipped with an auto shut-off manual reset button located on the bottom of the unit. If the motor stops during operation, press this red button to reset the unit.

8.2 Disposal Hums But Does Not Grind
This usually indicates a jam. Follow these steps:
- Afbryd strømmen: Turn off the disposal switch and unplug the unit.
- Clear Jam: Use a hex wrench (not included) in the center hole on the bottom of the disposal and turn it back and forth to free the grinding plate. Alternatively, use tongs or pliers to carefully remove any visible object from the grinding chamber. Brug aldrig dine hænder.
- Nulstil: Press the red reset button on the bottom of the unit.
- Prøve: Plug in the unit, turn on cold water, and then turn on the disposal switch.
8.3 Utætheder
