5.1. Preparing the Lancing Device

Remove the cap from the lancing device.
Insert a new MicroTech lancet firmly into the lancet holder.
Twist off the protective cap from the lancet.

6.1. Performing a Blood Glucose Test

Insert a new MicroTech GoCheck2 test strip into the test strip port of the GoCheck2 meter. The meter will turn on automatically.
Prick the side of your fingertip with the prepared lancing device. Gently squeeze your finger to form a small drop of blood.
Touch the tip of the test strip to the blood drop. The blood will be drawn into the strip automatically. Do not apply blood to the top of the strip.
The meter will display your blood glucose result in approximately 5 seconds.
