Indledning

This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your MERCUSYS Halo H50G AC1900 Mesh WiFi System. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper installation and optimal performance.

The Halo H50G system is designed to provide seamless whole-home WiFi coverage, eliminating dead zones and ensuring stable connectivity for multiple devices.

Opsætning

1. Hardwareforbindelse

1. Pak enhederne ud: Remove the Halo H50G units from their packaging.
2. Placering af hovedenheden: Place one Halo H50G unit near your modem or existing router. This will be your main unit.
3. Tilslut til modemet: Connect one end of the provided Ethernet cable to a LAN port on your modem (or an available LAN port on your existing router if using Access Point mode). Connect the other end to any of the Gigabit WAN/LAN ports on the main Halo H50G unit.
4. Tænd: Connect the power adapter to the main Halo H50G unit and plug it into a power outlet. Wait for the LED indicator on the unit to turn solid white, indicating it is ready.
5. Position Satellite Units: Place the other Halo H50G unit(s) in locations where you need extended WiFi coverage. Ensure they are within range of the main unit.

Operating Your Mesh WiFi System

The Halo H50G system supports two primary operating modes:

• Routertilstand: This is the default mode. The Halo system acts as your primary router, creating a new WiFi network and managing all connected devices.
• Adgangspunkttilstand: If you already have an existing router and want to extend its WiFi coverage without creating a new network, you can configure the Halo system in Access Point mode. In this mode, the Halo units extend your existing wired network wirelessly.
