4. Opsætning og installation

The Smart Doorbell offers two convenient installation methods: adhesive paste or screw fixing.

4.1. Adhesive Installation

For a quick and easy setup, use the provided adhesive aid:

2. Peel off the protective film from the adhesive pad on the back of the doorbell mounting bracket.
3. Firmly press the doorbell bracket onto the cleaned surface for at least 30 seconds.

4.2. Installation af skruer

For a more secure and permanent installation, use screws:

1. Position the doorbell bracket on the desired surface and mark the screw holes.
2. Drill pilot holes if necessary, according to the size of your screws.
3. Secure the doorbell bracket to the wall using appropriate screws (not included).
4. Slide the doorbell unit onto the mounted bracket until it clicks into place.

4.3. Opsætning af klokke

Plug the internal ding-dong machine (chime) into a standard power outlet within range of the doorbell. It will automatically pair with the doorbell unit.

5. Betjeningsvejledning

5.1. Første opsætning og app-forbindelse

1. Download the dedicated mobile application (refer to the QR code or app store link provided in the quick start guide).
2. Registrer en konto og log ind.
3. Follow the in-app instructions to add your Smart Doorbell to your account. This typically involves powering on the doorbell and connecting it to your home Wi-Fi network.

5.2. Live Video Call and Two-Way Intercom

When a visitor presses the doorbell button, the internal chime will ring, and you will receive a notification on your mobile phone. You can then:

6. Vedligeholdelse

• Rensning: Tør dørklokkens yderside af med en blød kludamp klæde. Brug ikke skrappe kemikalier eller slibende rengøringsmidler.
• Batteriopladning: The doorbell has a built-in rechargeable battery. When the battery level is low, you will receive a notification via the app. Connect the doorbell to the provided charging cable and a USB power source (e.g., phone charger, computer USB port) to recharge. A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours.
• Firmwareopdateringer: Tjek regelmæssigt appen for tilgængelige firmwareopdateringer for at sikre optimal ydeevne og adgang til nye funktioner.

7. Fejlfinding

• Dørklokken opretter ikke forbindelse til Wi-Fi: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz (5GHz is not supported). Check your Wi-Fi password and signal strength. Try moving the doorbell closer to your router during setup.
• No notifications on phone: Check your phone's notification settings for the doorbell app. Ensure the app has permission to send notifications. Verify your phone has an active internet connection.
