3. Installation
The Elica chimney offers flexible installation options: ducted or ductless. Professional installation is recommended.
Installationstyper
- Ducted Mode (Recommended): Smoke and odors are expelled outside through an external duct pipe. This method offers maximum efficiency.
- Ductless Mode: Air is filtered through an optional charcoal filter (sold separately) and recirculated into the kitchen. This is suitable when external ducting is not possible. Performance may vary compared to ducted mode.

Generelle installationstrin (resumé)
- Mark the drilling points on the wall according to the chimney's mounting bracket.

- Wave your hand from left to right to increase the fan speed.

Heat Auto Clean Function
The heat auto-clean feature simplifies the cleaning process by melting and collecting grease.

- Activate the auto-clean function via the touch panel. The chimney will heat the internal components to melt accumulated oil.
- The melted oil will drip into the removable oil collector tray located below the motor.
- After the cycle, carefully remove and empty the oil collector. Wash it with warm soapy water.
Udvendig rengøring
- Tør de udvendige overflader af med en blød kludampafsluttet med mildt rengøringsmiddel.
- Brug ikke slibende rengøringsmidler, ståluld eller stærke kemikalier, da disse kan beskadige overfladen.
- Ensure the chimney is completely dry before resuming operation.
