4. Opsætning

4.1 Første batteriopladning

1. Connect the charger to a suitable power outlet. The charger's LED indicator may light up briefly.
2. Slide the 20V / 4.0 Ah battery onto the charger until it clicks into place. Ensure a secure connection.
3. The charger's LED indicator will show the charging status. Refer to the 'Operating Instructions' section for LED indicator details.
4. Allow the battery to charge completely before first use. A full charge for the 4.0 Ah battery takes approximately 120 minutes.

4.2 Attaching Battery to Tool

Once charged, slide the battery into the battery slot of your Scheppach IXES 20V cordless tool until it locks securely. To remove, press the release button(s) on the battery and slide it out.

5. Betjeningsvejledning

5.1 Indikator for batteriopladningsniveau

The battery features a 3-level LED indicator to show the remaining charge capacity. Press the button on the battery to activate the indicator.

• 3 lysdioder tændt: Fuld opladning (ca. 67-100%)
• 2 lysdioder tændt: Mellem opladning (ca. 34-66%)
• 1 LED tændt: Low charge (approx. 1-33%). Recharge soon.
• 1 LED blinker: Battery almost empty. Recharge immediately.

5.2 Charger LED Indicator

The charger has an LED indicator that shows the charging status:

• Fast rød: Opladning i gang.
• Solid grøn: Opladning færdig.
• Blinker rødt: Error (e.g., battery too hot/cold, faulty battery).

5.3 Intelligent Cell Management

The battery is equipped with individual cell management, which protects against overheating and overvoltage. This system ensures consistent charging and discharging processes, significantly extending the battery's lifespan and operating time by minimizing the risk of overcharging or deep discharge.

• Ideal storage temperature is between 10°C and 20°C (50°F and 68°F).
• For long-term storage, charge the battery to approximately 50-70% capacity. Recharge every 6 months to prevent deep discharge.
