3. Opsætning og installation

Setting up your TOWODE WiFi Alarm Home Security System is straightforward and requires no professional assistance. Follow these steps for proper installation and configuration:

3.1 Fysisk installation

Siren Placement: Plug the siren into a power outlet in a central location within your desired security area. Ensure it is within range of your WiFi network.
Sensorplacering: Door and window alarms, along with infrared motion detectors, can be secured using the provided adhesive pads or screws.

For motion sensors, install at a height of approximately 2 meters (6.5 feet) to detect movement effectively from 19 to 26 feet away.
Avoid facing PIR sensors against windows, ovens, or air conditioners, as moving heat sources and wind can trigger false alarms.

3.2 App and Network Configuration

The system connects to your home WiFi network via the Tuya Smart app. Ensure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network for initial setup.

3.3 Pairing Sensors and Remote Controls

The WiFi loudspeaker can learn up to 30 wireless detectors and 20 remote controls. The system is pre-programmed, but you can add more accessories as needed.

Select 'Add accessory' and follow the prompts to trigger the sensor or press a button on the remote control to pair it with the system.
