3. Opsætning og montering

Follow these steps to assemble your MD-810 metal detector and prepare it for use.

3.1. Komponentidentifikation:

3.2. Monteringstrin:

1. Fastgør søgespolen:

   Connect the search coil to the lower stem using the provided non-metallic bolt and nut. Ensure it is securely fastened but do not overtighten.

2. Saml stilken:

   Connect the lower stem (with the search coil) to the middle stem, and then connect the middle stem to the upper stem. Ensure the spring clips or locking mechanisms engage properly.

3. Monter styreenheden:

   Slide the control unit onto the top of the upper stem. Secure it in place using the designated locking collar or screw. Ensure the control unit is firmly attached and does not wobble.
4. Tilslut spolekablet:

   Carefully wrap the search coil cable around the stem, ensuring it is not tangled or pinched. Plug the coil cable connector into the corresponding port on the control unit. Tighten the collar on the connector to secure it.

5. Installer batterier:

   Open the battery compartment on the control unit. Insert two 9V 6F22 alkaline batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery compartment securely.

   Adjust the length of the stem to a comfortable height. The detector should allow you to sweep the search coil parallel to the ground without bending over. The adjustable range is 105cm to 131cm (41.34-51.57in).

4. Betjeningsvejledning

This section details how to operate your MD-810 metal detector effectively.

4.1. Tænd/sluk:

Tryk og hold på MAGT button to turn the detector on or off. The LCD screen will illuminate upon power-on.

4.2. Understanding the Display:

The LCD screen provides crucial information:

• Mål-id: Numerical value and icon indicating the probable type of metal detected.
• Depth Indication: Estimates the depth of the target (e.g., 2", 4", 6", 8"+ for coins).
• Følsomhedsniveau: Shows the current sensitivity setting (5 grades).
• Batteriindikator: Displays remaining battery life (4 grades).
• Signalstyrke: Indicates the strength of the detected signal (5 grades).
• Lydstyrke: Shows the current audio volume (3 grades).

4.3. Driftstilstande:

The MD-810 offers 5 operation modes. Press the MODE button to cycle through them.

• ALL-METAL Mode (A-M):

  In this motion mode, the detector will respond to all types of metals. This is ideal for finding all metal objects or when the type of metal is unknown.
• DISC Mode (Discrimination):

  This motion mode allows you to eliminate certain kinds of metal from detection. You can adjust the discrimination level to ignore unwanted items like iron or foil. The detector will not respond to discriminated metals.

• MEMORY-tilstand:

  This motion mode allows the detector to remember specific kinds of metals you choose to detect. It will only respond to these selected metals, ignoring others.

• SMYKKER-tilstand:

  This motion mode is specifically designed to find jewelry. It will eliminate iron signals but will respond to other metals commonly found in jewelry.
• PINPOINT Mode (P-P):

  This is a non-motion mode used to accurately locate the exact position of a detected target. Once a target is found in a motion mode, switch to P-P mode, hold the coil steady, and move it slowly to pinpoint the target's center.

4.4. Følsomhedsjustering:

Tryk på SENS button to adjust the sensitivity level (5 grades). Higher sensitivity increases detection depth but may also increase false signals in mineralized ground. Start with a medium setting and adjust as needed.

4.5. Lydstyrkejustering:

Tryk på BIND button to adjust the audio volume (3 grades).

4.6. Sweeping Technique:

Proper sweeping technique is crucial for effective detection:

1. Keep the search coil parallel to the ground at all times, approximately 1/2 inch (1-2 cm) above the surface.
2. Move the search coil slowly and steadily from side to side in overlapping sweeps. Avoid lifting the coil at the end of each sweep.
3. Overlap each sweep by about half the coil's diameter to ensure complete ground coverage.
4. When a target is detected, the detector will emit an audio tone, and the LCD will display target information.

5. Vedligeholdelse

Proper care and maintenance will extend the life of your MD-810 metal detector.

• Rensning:
  • Wipe the search coil with a damp cloth after use, especially if used in wet or muddy conditions.
  • Clean the control unit and stem with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Ensure the control unit is kept dry.
• Batteripleje:
  • Remove batteries if the detector will not be used for more than a week to prevent corrosion from battery leakage.
  • Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the LCD.
• Opbevaring:
