1. Introduktion

This manual provides essential information for the proper use and care of your Bauhaus 20865 Men's Analogue Solar Watch. 2. Opsætning

2.1 Indledende opladning

Your Bauhaus solar watch is powered by light. Before initial use, or if the watch has stopped, expose the dial to a bright light source (natural sunlight is ideal) for several hours. The watch contains a rechargeable cell that stores energy. Avoid placing the watch in direct sunlight for extended periods in extremely hot environments to prevent damage.

2.2 Indstilling af klokkeslæt

1. Pull the crown (position A) out to the second click (position C). The second hand will stop.
2. Rotate the crown to set the hour and minute hands to the correct time. Ensure the AM/PM is correctly set if your watch has a 24-hour sub-dial.
3. Push the crown back in to the normal position (position A). The second hand will resume movement.

2.3 Indstilling af dato

1. Pull the crown (position A) out to the first click (position B).
2. Drej kronen for at indstille datoen. Undgå at indstille datoen mellem kl. 21.00 og 03.00, da dette kan forstyrre den automatiske datoændringsmekanisme.
3. Push the crown back in to the normal position (position A).

2.4 Justering af remmen

The watch is fitted with a calfskin strap and a buckle closure. To adjust, simply thread the strap through the buckle and secure it at a comfortable fit on your wrist. Ensure it is not too tight to allow for proper circulation, nor too loose to prevent the watch from rotating freely.

3. Betjening af uret

3.1 Tidtagning

Once set, your watch will accurately display the time and date, powered by its solar movement. The second hand moves in a smooth, continuous motion.

3.2 Kronograffunktion

The chronograph allows for elapsed time measurement.

1. Til starte the chronograph, press the upper pusher (above the crown). The chronograph second hand will begin to move.
2. Til stop the chronograph, press the upper pusher again. The chronograph hands will stop, indicating the elapsed time.
3. Til nulstilles the chronograph, press the lower pusher (below the crown) while the chronograph is stopped. The chronograph hands will return to their zero positions.

3.3 Solar Power Operation

The watch converts light into electrical energy, which is stored in a rechargeable cell. Regular exposure to light is crucial for maintaining optimal charge. If the watch is stored in darkness for an extended period, it may stop. Expose it to light to restart and recharge.

3.4 Water Resistance (50 Meters)

Your watch has a water resistance rating of 50 meters (5 ATM). This means it is suitable for everyday use, including splashes, rain, and brief immersion in water. It is ikke suitable for swimming, showering, diving, or any water sports where the watch might be subjected to high-velocity water or prolonged immersion. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.

4. Vedligeholdelse

4.1 Rengøring

Wipe the watch case and crystal with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp klud kan bruges, efterfulgt af øjeblikkelig tørring. Undgå at bruge kemiske rengøringsmidler, opløsningsmidler eller slibende materialer, da disse kan beskadige urets finish.

4.2 Pleje af remmen

The calfskin strap is a natural material and requires care. Avoid prolonged exposure to water, direct sunlight, and extreme temperatures, which can cause the leather to dry out, crack, or discolor. Clean the strap with a soft, damp cloth and allow it to air dry naturally. Regular conditioning with a leather protector can help maintain its appearance and flexibility.

4.3 Power Maintenance

To ensure continuous operation, expose your solar watch to light regularly. If the watch is stored in a dark place, it will eventually deplete its charge and stop. A full charge can last for several months in darkness, but consistent light exposure is recommended.

4.4 Opbevaring

When not wearing the watch, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and strong magnetic fields. Magnetic fields can affect the accuracy of mechanical components within the movement.

5. Fejlfinding

5.1 Uret går ikke

If the watch has stopped, it is likely due to insufficient charge. Expose the watch dial to a bright light source for several hours. The watch should restart once sufficient energy is stored.

5.2 Forkert tidspunkt eller dato

Refer to sections 2.2 and 2.3 to reset the time and date. Ensure the crown is fully pushed in after setting to prevent accidental changes and maintain water resistance.

5.3 Condensation Inside the Crystal
