The Caymuller WF-003 WiFi Extender is designed to boost wireless coverage in all WLAN networks, extending your WiFi signal to dead zones and creating a stronger signal with a transmission rate of up to 300Mbps. This allows for seamless online gaming, video conferencing, and 4K high-definition video streaming anywhere in your home.

The extender features indicator lights for Power, Wireless activity, WPS status, and LAN connection. It includes a LAN port, a Reset button, and a WPS button for easy setup. Its compact dimensions are approximately 2.3 x 2.1 x 3.3 inches, and it weighs about 3.84 ounces.

WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) Method

This method allows for quick connection to your existing router without manual configuration.

1. Plug the WiFi Extender into a power outlet near your router.
2. Press the WPS button on the WiFi Extender.
3. Within 1 minute, press the WPS button on your main router.
4. The extender will automatically connect to your router. Once connected, the Wireless indicator light will be solid green.

Web Browser Configuration Method (for Smartphones/Pads)

If your router does not support WPS or you prefer manual setup, follow these steps:

2. On your smartphone or tablet, go to WiFi settings and find and connect to the WiFi network named "Repeater-xxxx" (where xxxx are the last four digits of the extender's MAC address).

4. On the setup page, select "Repeater Mode".

7. The extender will restart. Once restarted, the setup is complete.

In AP Mode, the extender connects to your Internet or existing network via an Ethernet cable (RJ45 port) and then broadcasts a new wireless signal. This effectively turns a wired connection into a wireless access point, suitable for areas where you have an Ethernet port but need WiFi.

4. Optimal Placement and Compatibility

Optimal placering

For best performance, place the WiFi Extender in a location that is roughly halfway between your router and the area where you experience weak signal or dead zones. Avoid placing it too close to the router (which won't extend coverage effectively) or too far from the router (where it might not receive a strong enough signal to re-broadcast).

Bred kompatibilitet

6. Fejlfinding

If you encounter issues with your WiFi Extender, try the following common troubleshooting steps:
