3. Opsætningsvejledning

3.1. Installation af senderbatteri

1. Locate the battery compartment on the Spektrum SLT2 2.4GHz Transmitter.
2. Åbn batterirummets dæksel.
3. Insert the 4 included AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
4. Luk batterirummets dæksel forsvarligt.

3.2. Opladning af køretøjets batteri

The vehicle includes a Spektrum 8.4V 3300mAh 7-Cell Hump Smart NiMH Battery and a Spektrum 2S LiPo Ready S120 USB-C Smart Charger.

1. Connect the S120 USB-C Smart Charger to a compatible USB power supply (QC 2.0/3.0 18W+ recommended, not included).
2. Connect the vehicle battery to the charger's IC3 connector.

3.3. Forbindelse af sender og modtager

If the transmitter and receiver are not already bound, follow these steps:

1. Ensure the vehicle battery is disconnected from the ESC.
2. Tænd for senderen.
3. Connect the vehicle battery to the ESC. The ESC will power on.
4. Press and hold the bind button on the receiver (or follow the specific binding procedure outlined in the full product manual).
5. The receiver's LED will indicate successful binding.

3.4. ESC Battery Type Selection

The ESC is compatible with both NiMH and LiPo batteries. Before using a LiPo battery, ensure the ESC is set to the correct battery type. Refer to the full product manual for instructions on how to switch the pin on the ESC from its stock NiMH position to LiPo.

4. Betjeningsvejledning

4.1. Grundlæggende kontroller

4.2. Køretips

The ARRMA Gorgon is designed for durability and performance across various terrains. Its robust construction allows for aggressive driving, including jumps and rough terrain. Always operate the vehicle in open areas free from obstacles, people, and pets.

4.3. Batteridriftstid

The included NiMH battery provides approximately 15-20 minutes of runtime depending on driving conditions. For extended runtimes, consider purchasing additional compatible batteries, such as a 2S LiPo 7200mAh battery with an EC3 connector, ensuring the ESC is correctly configured for LiPo use.

5. Vedligeholdelse

5.1. Generel rengøring

After each use, especially in dusty or dirty conditions, clean the vehicle to prevent debris buildup. Use a soft brush or compressed air to remove dirt from the chassis, suspension, and drivetrain components.

5.2. Drivetrain Inspection

Regularly inspect the gears, especially the spur gear and pinion gear, for wear or damage. Stripped gears can occur from impacts or excessive stress. Replace any worn or damaged parts promptly to maintain optimal performance.

5.3. Motor Cooling

For prolonged operation or in warm environments, consider installing a 40mm cooling fan on the brushed motor. This can help maintain motor temperature and extend its lifespan. The fan can typically plug directly into the fan port on the stock ESC for power.

6. Fejlfinding

6.1. Vehicle Not Responding

• Ensure both the transmitter and vehicle batteries are fully charged and correctly installed.
• Verify that the transmitter and receiver are properly bound.
• Check all electrical connections for looseness or damage.

6.2. Loss of Steering or Throttle Control

• Styretøj: Inspect the steering servo for damage or if it has become unresponsive. Check servo linkages for obstructions.
• Gashåndtag: Check the motor and ESC connections. If the motor accelerates but the wheels do not turn, inspect the spur gear and pinion gear for stripping.

6.3. Kort batterilevetid

• Consider the age and condition of the battery; older batteries may have reduced capacity.
• Driving style (e.g., continuous full throttle) significantly impacts runtime.
