1. Introduktion

This manual provides essential information for the safe installation, operation, and maintenance of your BG Electrical Double Switched Power Wall Plug Socket (Model: NFB22UAC45B-01). 5. Opsætning og installation

Installation should only be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person. Ensure the mains power supply is isolated at the consumer unit/fuse box before proceeding.

1. Forbered ledningerne: Carefully strip the insulation from the live (brown), neutral (blue), and earth (green/yellow) wires to the appropriate length for the terminals.
2. Tilslut ledningerne:
   • Tilslut Live (L) wire to the terminal marked 'L'.
   • Tilslut Neutral (N) wire to the terminal marked 'N'.
   • Tilslut Jorden (E) wire to the terminal marked 'E'.

6. Betjeningsvejledning

This socket provides both standard 13A power outlets and integrated USB charging ports.

• Using the 13A Sockets:

  Insert your appliance plug into one of the 13A sockets. Use the corresponding switch to turn the power on or off. The switches control the power to the 13A outlets only; the USB ports are independently powered.

• Using the USB Charging Ports:

  Connect your USB-A or USB-C compatible device charging cable to the respective port. The intelligent charging feature will detect your device and deliver the optimal power required, up to 45W for USB-C and 30W for USB-A. Charging will automatically stop or enter standby mode once the device is fully charged to prevent overcharging.

To maintain the appearance and functionality of your socket:

8. Fejlfinding

• No Power to 13A Sockets:
  • Check if the individual switch on the socket is in the 'ON' position.
  • Verify that the mains power supply to the circuit is active at the consumer unit/fuse box.
  • Ensure the appliance plug is fully inserted.

  • Ensure the USB cable is fully and securely inserted into both the device and the socket's USB port. Some USB-C cables may require a firm connection.
  • Try a different USB cable to rule out cable fault.
  • Test with a different device to confirm the issue is not with the device itself.
  • Confirm the device is compatible with USB charging and its power requirements are within the socket's output capabilities (45W USB-C, 30W USB-A).
• Socket Feels Loose in Wall:
  • ADVARSEL: Isolate power before attempting to tighten screws.
  • Carefully tighten the fixing screws. If the issue persists, the wall box may be damaged or incorrectly installed, requiring professional attention.
