4. Opsætning og installation

The IOGIANT AC1200 WiFi Extender can be set up using the WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) method for quick and easy configuration. Alternatively, you can use a web browser til opsætning.

4.1. WPS Setup Method

Follow these steps to set up your extender using the WPS button:

2. Connect to your WiFi Router: Press the WPS button on your WiFi router. The WPS LED status on your router should change, indicating it's ready for pairing.

5. Flyt extenderen: Please relocate the extender to a location within the WiFi range of your WiFi router, ideally halfway between your router and the WiFi dead zone. Wait until the Signal LED turns solid blue or orange.

Once the extender is successfully set up, it will broadcast extended Wi-Fi networks. These networks will typically have the same name as your original Wi-Fi network with an '_EXT' or similar suffix (e.g., 'YourWiFiName_EXT').

If you encounter issues with your IOGIANT AC1200 WiFi Extender, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Ensure the Signal LED is solid blue or orange. If it's off, the extender is not connected to your router. Try relocating it closer to the router or re-running the setup process.

  • Ensure there are no strong interference sources nearby (e.g., microwaves, cordless phones).
