Trin før installation

1. Ensure the engine is cool to the touch.
2. Disconnect the negative terminal of the 12V auxiliary battery.
3. Position a drain pan underneath the vehicle.
4. Drain the coolant from the inverter cooling system.

Removal of Old Pump

1. Remove the screws securing the upper radiator trim panel.
2. Remove retaining clips and screws that hold the top of the bumper and grille.
3. Raise the vehicle and remove the front tires.
4. Remove hardware retaining the front half of each fender liner to the body.
5. Remove screws securing the lower radiator trim panel.
6. Remove screws retaining corners of the bumper to the front fender.
7. Carefully pull the front bumper cover forward, releasing it from mounting tabs.
8. Disconnect the fog light wiring harnesses and set the bumper aside.
9. Remove 3 mounting screws that secure the left headlight assembly.
10. Pull the headlight from its mounting position, carefully disconnecting all wiring.
11. Spray penetrating lubricant on the water pump mounting bolts.
12. Disconnect both coolant hoses from the water pump.
13. Remove bolts securing the water pump bracket to the body.
14. Withdraw the old water pump from its position and disconnect the electrical harness.

Installation af ny pumpe

1. Wipe clean the mounting area before placing the new pump in position.
2. Apply anti-seize compound to the mounting bolt threads.
3. Connect the water pump wiring harness.
4. Bolt the new pump in place.
5. Reconnect the two coolant hoses to the water pump.
6. Top off the coolant reservoir with appropriate coolant.
7. Following factory specifications, remove air from the coolant system using the bleeder valve on top of the hose assembly.
8. Reinstall the headlight, bumper, and fender liners in reverse order of removal.
