4. Opsætning

4.1 Montering af enheden

The CYCPLUS G1 can be easily mounted on your bicycle's handlebar or stem using the provided accessories. Ensure the mounting location does not obstruct safe operation.

Attach the rubber disc to the back of the stem mount.
Place the mount on your handlebar or stem.
Secure the mount using the provided fixing bands.
Align the CYCPLUS G1 unit with the mount and twist it clockwise until it clicks into place.

4.2 Initial GPS Acquisition

For the first use, or after a long period of inactivity, the device may take a few minutes to acquire a GPS signal. Ensure you are in an open outdoor area with a clear view of the sky for best reception.

5.1 Tænd/sluk

To power on: Press and hold the power button (usually on the side) for a few seconds until the screen illuminates.

6. Display Items

The CYCPLUS G1 provides the following data points:

7. GPS-funktionalitet

The G1 uses a 4-satellite positioning system (GPS, BeiDou, Glonass, Galileo) for enhanced accuracy and stability in data acquisition.

7.1 Tidszoneindstilling

If the time is incorrect after setting the time zone, place the cycle computer outdoors. Once it receives a GPS signal, the time will automatically correct itself. For manual time zone adjustment:

Long-press the setting button to enter setting item C4.
Press the power button to make the lower value blink.
Press the setting button to select '9' (for Japan time zone).
Press the power button to confirm '9' is lit, completing the setting.
Long-press the setting button to return to the home screen; the time will now be set to Japan time.
If there is still a difference of a few minutes, it will correct itself after GPS reception outdoors.

Problem	Løsning
Time is incorrect even after setting the time zone.	Place the cycle computer outdoors. The time will automatically correct itself once a GPS signal is received.
Cannot receive GPS signal.	GPS cannot be received indoors. Move to an open outdoor area without obstructions and wait for about three minutes for reception. Reception is affected by the environment. If you cannot receive a signal for more than 5 minutes in the same location, move to a different area without obstructions.
GPS signal reception takes a long time.	It is normal if the signal can be received within 5 minutes. Reception time varies depending on the environment.
Speed is displayed even when not moving indoors.	This is normal due to weak GPS signal reception and device deviation.
Why doesn't GPS receive a signal in a few seconds indoors like a smartphone?	The GPS technology used is different. Smartphones use AGPS, which offers faster reception and higher sensitivity. Standard GPS devices like the G1 may not acquire signals indoors, in forests, or tunnels. Please understand this limitation.
