4. Opsætning
- Klargør køretøjet: Park the vehicle on a level surface and engage the parking brake. If necessary, lift the vehicle using a jack and secure it with jack stands. Remove the wheels to access the brake calipers.
- Locate Brake Fluid Reservoir: Open the vehicle's hood and locate the brake fluid reservoir. Ensure the reservoir is clean around the cap.
- Tilslut lufttilførsel: Connect an air compressor (not included) to the air inlet port of the bleeder unit. Ensure the connection is secure. The air inlet port is equipped with a quick connector for easy attachment.
- Position the Bleeder: Use the integrated hook to suspend the bleeder unit from the vehicle's hood or another secure point, ensuring it is upright and stable.
- Attach Bleeder Hose: Connect the bleeder hose to the oil outlet port at the bottom of the reservoir.

5. Betjeningsvejledning
This device uses a vacuum to draw out old brake fluid and simultaneously allows for refilling with new fluid. It is designed for single-person operation.
- Initial Fluid Check: Check the brake fluid level in the vehicle's master cylinder reservoir. If low, top it up with new, clean brake fluid to the MAX line.
- Connect to Bleed Screw: Attach the conical adapter or the appropriate bleeder hose adapter to the brake caliper's bleed screw. Ensure a snug fit to prevent air ingress.
- Open Air Valve: Open the air valve on the bleeder unit to allow compressed air to create a vacuum within the reservoir.
- Open Bleed Screw: Slowly open the brake caliper's bleed screw (typically 1/4 to 1/2 turn). Old brake fluid will begin to be drawn into the bleeder unit.
- Overvåg væskeniveau: Continuously monitor the brake fluid level in the vehicle's master cylinder reservoir. Do not allow the reservoir to run dry, as this will introduce air into the brake system. Top up as needed with new brake fluid.
- Observe Fluid: Watch the fluid flowing into the bleeder unit. Continue bleeding until the fluid appears clean and free of air bubbles.
- Close Bleed Screw: Once clean, bubble-free fluid is observed, close the brake caliper's bleed screw tightly.
- Close Air Valve: Close the air valve on the bleeder unit.
- Repeat for Other Wheels: Repeat the process for the remaining brake calipers, typically starting with the wheel furthest from the master cylinder and working towards the closest (e.g., rear passenger, rear driver, front passenger, front driver).
- Final Fluid Check: After bleeding all calipers, ensure the master cylinder reservoir is filled to the appropriate level. Replace the reservoir cap securely.
- Testbremser: Before driving, pump the brake pedal several times to build pressure. Test the brakes at low speed in a safe area to ensure proper function.
6. Vedligeholdelse
- Rensning: After each use, empty the collected brake fluid from the reservoir. Rinse the reservoir and hoses with clean water or an appropriate brake cleaner. Ensure all components are thoroughly dried before storage.
- Opbevaring: Store the bleeder unit in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Inspektion: Regularly inspect hoses, connectors, and the reservoir for signs of wear, cracks, or damage. Replace any damaged components immediately to ensure safe and effective operation.
