Indledning
This manual provides instructions for the Brita UltraMax Elite Water Dispenser. This BPA-free dispenser features Advanced Carbon Core Technology, designed to reduce 30 contaminants, including lead, cadmium, mercury, asbestos, and benzene, while improving water taste and odor by cutting chlorine. With a 27-cup capacity, it offers a convenient and space-efficient solution for filtered water, fitting easily into most refrigerators. The electronic filter indicator helps monitor filter life for timely replacement.

Opsætningsinstruktioner
- Udpakning og vask: Remove all components from the packaging. Hand wash the dispenser, lid, and reservoir with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly. Do not wash the filter.
- Klargør filteret: Before first use, rinse the Brita Elite filter under cold tap water for 15 seconds. This removes any loose carbon dust.
- Indsæt filteret: Insert the prepared filter into the reservoir. Press down firmly to ensure a tight seal.
- Fyld dispenseren: Place the lid on the dispenser. Open the filling lid and fill the reservoir with cold tap water. The water will filter into the main dispenser. Discard the first two full pitchers of filtered water, or use them for plants, to prime the filter.
- Indstil filterindikator: Press and hold the "Status" button on the lid for 2 seconds to activate the electronic filter indicator. Select "Elite Filter" by pressing the button until the blue light illuminates next to "Elite Filter". The indicator will flash green when the filter is good, yellow when it's nearing replacement, and red when it needs to be replaced.

Påfyldning af dispenseren
To refill the dispenser, simply lift the small hinged lid on top of the main lid. Pour cold tap water directly into the reservoir. The water will pass through the filter and collect in the main dispenser. Avoid overfilling to prevent spills.
Dispensere vand
To dispense filtered water, place a glass or container under the spigot. Push the lever on the spigot upwards to start the water flow. Release the lever to stop the flow.

The Brita UltraMax Dispenser is compatible with both Elite and Standard Brita filters. The included Elite filter utilizes Advanced Carbon Core Technology to reduce 30 contaminants, including 99% of lead, and lasts for approximately 120 gallons or 6 months. Standard filters typically last for 40 gallons or 2 months.
Elektronisk filterindikator
The electronic filter indicator on the lid tracks filter life. It will display a green light when the filter is active, a yellow light when it's nearing replacement, and a red light when it's time to replace the filter. To reset the indicator after replacing the filter, press and hold the "Status" button for 2 seconds until the green light flashes.

Vedligeholdelse og rengøring
Generel rengøring
The dispenser, lid, and reservoir should be hand washed regularly with mild dish soap and rinsed thoroughly. Do not use abrasive cleaners. The filter should not be washed.
Udskiftning af filter
Replace the Brita Elite filter every 120 gallons or approximately every six months, or when the electronic filter indicator signals replacement. To replace, remove the old filter from the reservoir, prepare the new filter as per setup instructions, and insert it firmly. Reset the filter indicator.

Fejlfinding
