Figur 1: BT-7200APP Clamp Meter and Included Accessories. The image shows the clamp meter, test leads, a temperature probe, a screwdriver, and two AAA batteries (though the product specifications state batteries are not included, this image implies they might be in some packages).

4.2. Batteriinstallation

  1. Sørg for, at måleren er slukket.
  2. Find batterirummet på bagsiden af måleren.
  3. Brug en skruetrækker til at åbne batteridækslet.
  4. Isæt to 1.5V AAA-batterier, og sørg for korrekt polaritet (+/-).
  5. Sæt batteridækslet på igen og fastgør det med skruen.

Note: Batteries are not included with all packages. Please check your specific product contents.

5. Betjeningsvejledning

5.1. Tænd/sluk

Rotate the function switch from the OFF position to any desired measurement function to turn the meter ON. Rotate it back to OFF to power down the meter.

5.2. AC/DC strømmåling (Clamp)

  1. Rotate the function switch to the ∼A (AC Current) or −A (DC Current) position.
  2. Press the REL button to zero out the reading before measurement if needed, especially for DC current.
  3. Åbn clamp jaws and enclose a enkelt leder of the circuit.
  4. Ensure the jaws are fully closed.
  5. Aflæs den aktuelle værdi på displayet.
Korrekt Clamping for Current Measurement

Figur 2: Korrekt Clamping for Current Measurement. The image illustrates the importance of clamping around a single live wire, not both live and neutral, to obtain an accurate current reading. An AC splitter can be used to separate conductors.

Vigtig: To measure current accurately, you MUST separate the hot and neutral wires and clamp around the live wire only. Clamping around both will result in a zero reading due to canceling magnetic fields. An AC splitter can simplify this process.

5.3. AC/DC Voltage Måling

  1. Insert the red test lead into the VΩCAPHzTemp jack and the black test lead into the COM jack.
  2. Rotate the function switch to the V∼ (AC Voltage) eller V− (DC-volumentage) stilling.
  3. Tilslut testledningerne parallelt til det kredsløb eller den komponent, der testes.
  4. Læs bindtage -værdi på displayet.

5.4. Resistance, Capacitance, Frequency, Diode, Continuity Measurement

  1. Insert the red test lead into the VΩCAPHzTemp jack and the black test lead into the COM jack.
  2. Rotate the function switch to the appropriate position (Ω for Resistance, CAP for Capacitance, Hz for Frequency, Diode/Continuity).
  3. For Resistance/Capacitance: Ensure the circuit is de-energized before connecting the leads.
  4. For Continuity: A built-in buzzer will sound if the resistance is below a certain threshold.
  5. For Diode: Connect the red lead to the anode and black to the cathode to measure forward voltage drop.

5.5. Temperaturmåling

  1. Insert the temperature probe into the VΩCAPHzTemp jack (positive) and COM jack (negative).
  2. Rotate the function switch to the ℃/℉ position.
  3. Placer spidsen af temperatursonden på eller i nærheden af det objekt, hvis temperatur skal måles.
  4. Read the temperature value on the display. Press the SEL button to switch between Celsius (℃) and Fahrenheit (℉).

Figur 3: Temperature Measurement with BT-7200APP. The image shows the clamp meter connected to a temperature probe, measuring the temperature of a liquid in a beaker, demonstrating its capability to measure temperatures up to 1832°F (1000°C).

5.6. Non-Contact Voltage (NCV) Detektion

  1. Drej funktionskontakten til NCV-positionen.
  2. Move the front tip of the clamp meter near a conductor or outlet.
  3. Hvis AC voltage is detected, the NCV indicator light will illuminate, and the buzzer will sound. The intensity of the beeping and light indicates the strength of the detected field.
Non-Contact Voltage Detektion (NCV)

Figur 4: Non-Contact Voltage Detection (NCV). This image highlights the NCV function of the clamp meter, showing it detecting voltage without physical contact, indicated by a 'BEEP' sound and illuminated light.
