3.1 Understanding Air Quality Measurements

The AirLink monitor provides comprehensive data on various air quality parameters:

  • Particulate Matter (PM1, PM2.5, PM10): Measures the concentration of airborne particles of different sizes, including pollen, dust, and smoke.
  • Air Quality Index (AQI): A standardized index that indicates the level of air pollution and associated health risks. You can choose from various global indices, including the EPA's NowCast AQI.
  • Temperatur: Ambient temperature readings.
  • Fugtighed: Relative humidity levels.
  • Dugpunkt: Den temperatur, hvor luft bliver mættet med vanddamp.
  • Varmeindeks: A measure of how hot it feels when relative humidity is combined with the air temperature.
  • Wet Bulb: The lowest temperature that can be reached by evaporating water into the air.
  • Vejrudsigt: Provides local weather forecasts.
